It had been a full two days since Maria and Nathan had been taken off their sedation and still hadn't woken up yet. Sierra was starting to panic, and I was doing all I could to reassure her things were going to be okay. I had a sinking feeling that if we lost them again, Sierra would never recover.
Today was one of the days I usually went into the office, but I had my assistant, Jess, cancel my afternoon meetings, so I only worked in the morning. Caleb met me in town to look at rings for Sierra. Although she had proposed to me, it didn't mean I couldn't return the favor.
