Aaron's POV
After the attack, I had the rogue taken to the dungeons for interrogation. If he was working with Mathew I would find out, but it seemed odd to me to just send in a few rogues in hopes of capturing her. A group of ten warriors went into the forest to see if they could track down anyone else from the group. They turned up empty handed though; the trail looked as if they had all just vanished into thin air.
We were still in the woods where the attack had happened. I was waiting for my warriors to return to make sure they didn't find anything else. I saw them emerge into the clearing.
"Alpha, like I said, the trail went cold. We didn't find any trace of any kind of camp or place they might have been staying. I think they might have just been passing through the area."
