CHAPTER TWO(part 2)

** Richard swerved the vehicle into his estate and killed the engine. He took a deep breath, unlocked the car, and stepped out of it. He picked a pack of pizza which he bought for his wife and headed to the house. He placed his thumb on the sensor and the door was unlocked. "Elena, Elena" He called. He climbed upstairs and pushed the door open, he couldn't find anyone inside. He pulled off his clothes, retrieved his phone, and dialed Elena's number. He sighed in frustration as she wasn't picking up his calls. He opened the pizza pack and started munching it hungrily. He picked up his phone and dialed her number again, but she still wasn't taking her calls. He groaned in frustration and wondered why she was behaving like that. Ever since she went back to doing drugs, her behaviors have been off the charts. He sunk into the bed and closed his eyes briefly. He heard a knock on the front door and he jerked awake. The knocking continued and he knew it was any of his best friends. They were always fond of banging on the door. He wore a polo over his muscular body and climbed down the stairs. He unlocked the door to see Nath standing with a smirk on his face. "When will you ever learn to knock on the door?" Richard asked. "I don't need a tutorial on how to knock at my billionaire friend's house," Nath said. Richard pushed the door open and they both walked into the house. Nath moved to the bar and retrieved a bottle of vintage with two glasses. "How do you know I was home this early?" Richard asked. "I came to your office, you weren't on air and you weren't on the seat. So, I knew you would definitely be at home" Nath said. "Be careful not to spill that drink, a bottle goes for eighty thousand dollars" Richard reprimanded. "Damn, I could drink this all day" Nath poured the drink to the brim of the glass and drained it in a single gulp, "Where is Elena?" Richard took a deep breath, "She left in the morning and I don't know where she went to". Nath nodded, " That woman be stressing the hell out of you. From doing drugs, drinking, and then going out without letting you know. I believe she is cheating, man". "I don't know, she is behaving like a complete monster. I don't know how I did her wrong" Richard shrugged. Nath chuckled, "Remember, I warned you about this lady. I knew her mom from Chicago, she was a junkie". Richard shook his head negatively, " But she was perfect, very perfect. She told me that she was ready to change and I helped her to rehab. Only to realize that she has fallen back to her old habits". Nath got up, "That lady doesn't deserve you man. Divorce her before she kills you". " I don't know what to do" Richard replied. Nath placed his hands on his shoulder, "A man gotta do what a man got to do. Jerome is waiting at the court, go get dressed for our match". Richard got up and heaved a sigh, his mind went back to how he met Elena three years ago.
