Emily’s POV: Hunter runs off to get some more things done before his party tonight, leaving me all alone in his office that was once my fathers. Nothing about it is the same. Hunter took out the bookshelves and made just walls with random paintings. In front of the window is a window bench and a small bookshelf with a lamp on top of it. I smile and trace the edge of the bookshelf with my hand. There is still a lot to be set up before the party tonight, but I find myself sitting down on the window bench, gazing out on the pack. I see some kids running around and playing tag. I don’t know why, but it makes me happy to see them having such fun with all the chaos that has been happening lately.
