Justin’s POV: I make my way to my dads little house outside the compound. He never moved out of the old one we lived in when I was growing up. I stand at the front door and hold my hand out to knock, but hesitate. What am I even going to say? I take a deep breath and knock. He answers the door almost immediately. He looks at me and even though the light is dim, I can see tear streaks on his cheeks. “Hey, got a minute?” I ask. He takes a deep breath and nods his head. “Of course.” He steps aside and surveys the area behind me as I walk in. “So, what can I do for you?” He asks as we both sit on the couch in the living room.
