Emily’s POV:
“What?” The boys say at the same time.
“Yeah, what?” I say as I stand up.
Elijah stops walking to the bathroom and hangs his head with a sigh. “I have to get you into an almost hypnotic state. Where you are conscious but not really. The best way to do that is to submerge you into icy water and get your heart rate so low that it’s almost non-existent. Then, I can talk with your subconscious and hopefully, your wolf.”
“So, you’re going to basically kill me?” A shiver runs down my spine.
“Well, no. Just almost kill you.” He says with a smirk. “Don’t worry. You will be completely fine. You just might be a little cold for a couple of days afterwards.”
I can feel my heart beating in my ears. My whole body starts to feel heavy as I force myself to walk to the bathroom.
