“Wish! What are your doing?” Thomas demanded. “I’m doing what I am supposed to do, ClockKeeper.” The boy said, smiling at Thomas. “Granting wishes to those who invoke my name, what else am I supposed to do?” Thomas reached out and tried to hit him, but the boy floated out of range and laughed, “Good luck, ClockKeeper.” He disappeared without a trace, and Thomas was blown backwards, rolling over himself. He cursed, the baby being surrounded by a strong wind as she glowed. The baby floated and started to glow more, blinding Thomas. When he opened his eyes, he was kicked in the face, sending him smashing into the nearby building. He cursed and ducked, the next attack seemingly passed through the wall and exploded it. Thomas ran to the side and hid behind the wall, the wall exploding once again. The girl stood there, grown up to Rose’s age. She had long blonde hair, her eyes sharp and glaring at him. She wore a flowing dress and floated in the air. Thomas cursed, trying to run further away, but he was hit in the head and slammed into the ground. She stood nearby, a ball of light floating over Thomas. His eyes widened before he shouted, “Zeroth Hour!” He got up with much difficulty, breathing hard. The vampire had already given him so much trouble, but he still had to deal with the girl. Thomas clenched his fist and walked up to the girl, planning to go with his usual plan of hitting them. She stared at where Thomas was laid down, the ball of light still hovering there. Thomas pulled his arm back and punched, but stopped himself. He took a few steps back, something was odd. She was supposed to stare at where Thomas was, but her eyes had flickered towards Thomas even during the stopped time. “Please don’t.” Thomas begged. With much difficulty, as if forcing her neck to turn, she face Thomas, her eyes emotionless. Next, she moved an arm, pointing at him, a ball of light concentrating at her fingertip. It was shot at Thomas, but luckily stopped in time. She forced herself to move, her movements forced and even robotic. But Thomas noticed it, she was finding it easier to move with every step she took. Thomas cursed and took a step back. The boy just had to give her the ability to go against his abilities. Thomas ran while he could. She had difficulty moving in the stopped time, so regardless of how fast Thomas was, he could outrun her. He needed to get away from her, his life was in danger against such an opponent. He ran past the vampire and thought about it, the world was too small a place to hide. He pulled out his pocket watch and clicked the trigger on it, a portal appearing in front of him. He jumped through, the portal closing behind him. Thomas sat on the platform, breathing hard. Around the platform were fears that turned systematically without fail. Smaller clocks surrounded him, every time of every place of the world, the place where Thomas maintained stability in the world, The World Clock. He laid down, thinking. The girl had wished to be able to kill him, so he was sure her abilities could cause actual harm to him. However, the wish was granted by WishEarth, a psychopath. There was no way such power would come with would be given without any form of drawback. In fact, the drawback should have been obvious, it should have been taxing on the girl. The World Clock Shook. “Please don’t.” Thomas begged, running to the gears and forcing them to turn properly. In the middle of the platform, there was a rip in space, a foot firmly planted itself on the platform. The girl still had difficulty moving in the stopped time, but was getting better. Thomas cursed as The World Clock started to shake from the presence of another entity. If The World Clock shook anymore, some time in the world would change, causing unthinkable destruction to the human world. He never could have guessed that the girl was given the ability to travel through time. Thomas ditched his plan of hiding and ran at her, tackling her through the portal. He felt a searing pain in his gut as they rolled on the ground, Thomas being thrown off. She had shot a beam of light through his stomach, the beam hanging in the air, stopped in time. Thomas clutched his wound, the bleeding was not stopping. He fell on one knee, cursing. He looked around as the girl put one foot in front of the other, walking towards him. Her hair was turning white, she seemed to be extremely tired. Thomas gritted his teeth, the drawback was too slow to have been from Wish, or was it intentional? Rather, it might have been because of the stopped time. Thomas ignored it and threw a stone, releasing the stopped time before shouting, “Fifth Hour!” She blinked out of existence and was upon Thomas. Not too far away, the balls of light all exploded upon impact with the ground. She grabbed his neck, Thomas leaning backwards, so she ended up scratching his neck instead, drawing blood. She exploded with light, scratching Thomas across his body. She spun and swung her hand at Thomas, a blade of light cleaving the background in half while Thomas ducked. He tackled her again, but she lifted her hand, light shooting through his right shoulder. Thomas gritted his teeth and punched at her, but she disappeared and appeared above him, hitting him so hard into the ground that he broke his knees. Thomas turned up and pointed to her, “First Hour.” She appeared not too far away, a building being destroyed. Her hair was completely white and she had bags under her eyes. She appeared in front of Thomas and chopped down weakly, not able to affect Thomas. By skipping time, Thomas hoped she was completely out of energy to continue their battle. She looked at him, anger flashing in her eyes as she lifted her hand again. Thomas, unable to move, laid there as a flash of light descended upon him, completely wrecking the ground and the city as a whole.
