Thomas stared out at the sunset, Rose stopping beside him. He tilted his head. Rose asked, “What’s wrong?” “There’s something wrong...” Thomas replied. “Something very wrong, or rather, right.” “You’re making no sense.” Rose stated. He shook his head. Thomas had that feeling ever since Rose became an Angel. He was trying to ignore it, but it kept sticking to his mind. There really was something wrong, he knew it. Just then, a bird flew by, a white bird, a dove settled on Rose’s head. She panicked, waving her arms to make it go away. He wondered, how was Rose even able to become an Angel to begin with? “Do you remember anything when you became an Angel?”Thomas asked. “When I died?” “Yes.” Rose tapped her chin, her gold necklace reflecting the orange sunset.
