Twin Hybrids: Love Unchained.

Chapter 3

For a while I stood there taking a lot of hits from Lily that at this point I couldn't feel my arms from blocking her advances to hit me in my face. After hitting her in the stomach it was hard to hit her back. I looked to the crowd from my side view and seen Annette with a look of worry on her face. I looked back to Lily just in time to see that same glimmer of light cut through her eyes before she jumped in the air and with a twist kicked me in the face instantly knocking me out. 

"ANIKA!" Bianca and Annette screamed trying to make it to me before I was carried away by a teacher to the nurse. When I woke up I was in the nurses office on the bed with a cold rag on my forehead. 

"Ahhh Your awake." the nurse said with a smile. I looked at her with squinted eyes because my head and face was pounding. I had a flashback of what happened and seen the last moments of Lily before I was knocked out. The punch to her stomach really made her mad I wonder why. I sat up on the bed as the nurse looked at my bruises. 

"Your healing very well." she said moving my head from side to side examining my face. I looked at her embarrassed to have even been in there. 

"If I'm healing well, I can leave right?" I asked her starting to stand up. "Uhh well I suppose so." she said with a little hesitance in her voice. I stood still for a minute because my head started to spin but once it stopped I walked out the nurses office to see Bianca and Annette sitting there waiting for me. When they seen me they both stood up and rushed over to me and embraced me in a hug. 

"I'm glad you're okay." Annette said still hugging me, I hugged her back and looked at Bianca who still had a worried look on her face. 

"I'm okay." I said reassuring Bianca. she walked over to me and grabbed my hand. We walked to our dorms so that I could take a shower and get a bite to eat. After my shower I brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun and put on my black, white, and grey biker shorts with a white t-shirt. I sat on the bed with my cup of noodles as I was eating Bianca was staring at me. 

Bianca stood up and came over to sit on my bed. "Nika I have to tell you something." she said grabbing my hands. "Lily used her magic while fighting you, that's why she was much quicker, and stronger after the beginning of the fight. The headmistress called her out on it when you got carried away, she forfeited her position in the man hunt game." 

I looked at Bianca almost surprised, but it made sense once she said it aloud. The glimmer of light I seen after I landed the one and only punch I could increased her speed, and strength. 

"I figured that. I seen some sort of light flash in her eyes twice before she knocked me out." I said finishing my cup of noodles. I looked at Bianca with a smile on my face remembering the sexy deep voice from earlier. 

"Sooooo..." I said through my smile. "Are you going to tell me who that very handsome man is?" I asked hoping she'd tell me because she didn't before the incident. 

Bianca rolled her eyes. "That's Lamar. He is Angie's older brother, he may seem like he's nice and stuff but trust he isn't. If I were you I'd let that go." I looked at her for a little disappointed because how could he be her brother? He looked like the quiet shy type and Angie was the loud, obnoxious type. But at the same time I had no hopes of letting it go, it sort of my made me more intrigued to know that he was Angie's brother. We spent the rest of the night talking about everything and everyone and laughing. 

THE NEXT DAY....

We woke up to get ready for the day. I did my infamous pig tail style with my hair with two strands for bangs and put on my tight blue jeans that hugged my body in all the right ways, I put on my all white t-shirt and my MSC jacket. Once we were all ready to go we headed to the cafeteria for breakfast. 

I was sitting at the lunch table with Bianca and Annette and we were talking and laughing when Annette looked up and her smile quickly faded. I turned around to see what got her so serious. When I turned around I saw Lily and Angie standing behind me. 

"Uhh Hi Anika.." Angie said with a forced smile on her face. I didn't respond to her I just sat there and stared at her waiting to find out what they had wanted I mean don't they think they did enough. 

"I brought Lily over to apologize for the whole incident in the field. She cheated the combat and now she's no longer able to play in man hunt." she said looking at Lily with a evil look. Lily apologized for what happened and again I just sat there looking at them. 

"I shouldn't have cheated and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me." she drowned out when I seen Lamar walk in the cafeteria taking my breath away. I have never felt this way about someone and I couldn't exactly place a finger on where it was coming from. I think my staring a hole in his face got his attention, he looked over at me and it was like we couldn't stop staring at one another. 

He started to walk over to our table and the closer he got the faster my heart was beating out of my chest. Was he coming for me? Or was he coming over to meet up with Angie and Lily, either way he was coming to where I was sitting.
