It is quite dark when I leave Amy's apartment. I wanted to stay or drag Amy home with me, but I don't want to be the clingy type of boyfriend. I want to give her some breathing space even though our bodies demand the closeness to each other. I want to hold her till we say goodbye to the sun and good morning to it when we wake up but Amy and I are still new in our relationship. We need to give each other space so we can make sensible decisions. Amy has a job that requires a lot of her attention. I also need her attention. She has to decide on how to satisfy both our needs.
I got her phone number. I couldn't make the mistake of going back home without it. Now I can go home with a peaceful mind knowing that I can reach her by just putting on my phone. My car still has her sweet smell.
