Kayla looked into the room where CJNL World was once contained. She waved her hand into the dark room—nothing. There was relieved that the nightmare was over. Suddenly, the girl felt another change occur. Kayla looked down at her suit and saw that the damage done to Tassie’s suit was reversed. Kayla knew it had to be Danielle’s doing. That android seemingly had more power than Cecil—even if he was CJNL World’s self-appointed ruler. Kayla believed Joan couldn’t have pulled of the assassination on her own. Danielle, who served as Cecil’s bodyguard, would’ve stopped Joan quickly in the first move toward the treasonous deed. Kayla thanked the two both mentally, knowing that she couldn’t have escaped without their help.
Now that Kayla was back in the real world, she decided to rest, exhausted
