  SUZAN'S POV   I turned to Clarissa, who had a shocked expression frozen on her face. "What am I going to do?"   She blinked and quickly stood to her feet. "Okay, breathe. You need to calm him down and explain why you kept it from him. He's hurt, but he loves you. That hasn't changed."   "I hurt his feelings," I whispered, rubbing my temples as guilt squeezed at my chest.   "He's still a child, Suzan. Just talk to him in a way he'll understand. And if you need help, I'm right here," she said, rubbing my back gently. "Remember, no one loves you more than that little boy."   I gave her a weak nod and turned, hurrying out of the kitchen and up the stairs.   "Julian?" I called softly as I moved down the hallway. Since he didn't know the way back to his room, I opened the first door.
