  SUZAN'S POV   I felt warmth—the warmth that made me feel calm and safe. It was like I was gaining consciousness but I was lazy to open my eyes.   I heard slow but steady breathing and the calming scent of oud filled my nose. I knew who it was. He didn't leave. He didn't leave even though he was supposed to. He stayed.   Then I felt my surroundings shift. The warmth left and everything began to twist beneath me.   I'm not in bed anymore.   I find myself standing in the middle of a dark, rainy street.
