Chapter Two: Broken hearts lead to horrible decisions Contind

There was this strange eerie feeling that hit her when she pulled up to Lucian's house which had her wondering if her boyfriend was even home however the faint light in the home gave her a clue that he must be. Yet there was this feeling inside her gut that was screaming at her not to go inside of the home and to just turn around yet all she wanted to do was see him and tell him how she felt. Aviana pulled the bottle of wine out after adjusting the coat so it didn't give him any hint what to was underneath it or well the lack of what was. Don't go inside.. her mind told her as she closed the door to her vehicle, hoping that a light would flicker on. She shrugged her shoulders before walking up the couple steps that lead to his house before juggling her keys to find the one for his door just in case. At least if he wasn't home she could surprise him by waiting there for him. After trying the door to find it locked she used her key to enter it to find mostly silence aside from the light sound of music playing in the kitchen. It was one thing that drew her to him was he enjoyed the sound of music and never had his house oddly silent. Once she closed the door behind her she made her way towards the kitchen however she heard noises from upstairs that had her brow arch considering it was a creaking sound. 

After setting the bottle of wine down and searching for two glasses to set beside it she deciding to go check on the sounds coming from upstairs where his office and bedrooms were. If he wasn't in the living room or kitchen then he was possibly outside or most likely in his office dealing with documents. No shower was running so he couldn't be there. It did make her feel bad since her phone had died and made her unable to contact him to let him know that she would be late showing up for their planned evening together. Turn around and leave, don't go upstairs her mind told her again which made her roll her eyes once she reached the stairs. She ascended them and reached the top however there wasn't just a creaking sound being heard no, the other sounds were making her heart clench as she approached the bedroom. There was this sinking feeling that was being felt deep inside her however she forced herself to step forward until the door to his bedroom was visible. 

It was what was inside the bedroom that made her breath hitch and get stuck in her throat as bile grew and her heart shattered inside her chest. She could feel a few tears slide down her cheeks as her hand had moved to cover her mouth from gasping out. Her body froze since the sight in front of her wasn't one anyone should see from their partner. The fact that he was having s*x with another female inside of a bed that they had shared so many moments in together was heartbreaking. Not only was it just a female but his own secretary that he saw daily so part of her wondered how long it had been going on before she caught them in the act. God her brothers were going to want to kill him not that she didn't wish to do so. Something snapped her out of her trance before her eyes darkened "Well it appears you can't seem to stick to one f*cking v*gina. Guess it really shouldn't surprise me that you'd have your secretary here in the bed you claimed was ours." She growled which had both pull away from each other.

The redheaded secretary gasped in surprise while screaming 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry', like it really meant something before rushing into the ensuite bathroom with the sheet of the bed wrapped around herself. Her eyes rolled at Lucian who leaned back against the headboard to look at her "I would say it isn't what it looks like however we both don't need that lie. Sorry sweetheart but I needed to feed and you were late without answering any of my texts or calls." He responded while looking at her. The smug look on his face made something in her snap before she walked over and slapped him really hard across the face "I'm glad that my working late and having a dead cellphone makes it justifiable for you to shove your c*ck into another woman while your in a relationship. To think I came here to tell you I love you and was ready to mate to you." She snapped which one could tell her instantly regretted everything but she honestly didn't give a sh*t. He made his bed and now he can lie in it. 

"Look -" He started however she cut him off by raising her hand "I don't want to hear your piss poor excuses Lucian. I'm done." She told him then looked at him. Her opal eyes met his silver ones "I, Avianna Rose Mason reject you Lucian Darius Savage as my soulmate." She told him which had pain course throughout her body, making her gasp in surprise. She could see the anguish in his own features however she didn't care. He deserved it. Before he could say anything else she smirked before walking to the bathroom door and breaking it open which had Sera scream in surprise. Her fangs lengthen and before him or Sera could do anything her fangs sunk into her neck, draining her blood only to snap her neck after. 

Once that was done she walked past him and out of his bedroom, out of his home and out of his life without another glimpse. However she didn't go home, instead she went to a place she really shouldn't have went to and would possibly get her into trouble.
