The next morning, I woke up with one thought. The silver piece. I reached beneath my pillow and pulled it out. It was still cold. I turned it over in my fingers. The crescent was there. But now that I was looking closely, I noticed something else. A tiny mark sat beneath the crescent. Three small lines. I frowned. I'd never noticed them before. I grabbed my notebook and drew the symbol. Then I drew the mark underneath it. Something about it looked familiar. I just couldn't remember where I'd seen it. --- At school, I found Ethan first.
