"It seems am always rushing into large number of enemies. Sigh. I think I might be a masochist" thought Shen Long as he charged towards the sea of ferocious beast.
Roar!!
All types of Roars ands different sounds of monsters continuously rang as the monster drew closer to Wu Han town.
"Father, are we going to watch him charge towards those beast by himself?" asked the veiled woman.
"Let's watch for the time being. He had the courage to charge out by himself so he should be confident in his abilities."
"Yes, but I still think we should help him, after all this our town we can't let him do all the work. And the monster core from those beast will be an immense help to our Mu clan and the city in general" said the young lady.
"That's true. Yu'er take some guards and go help him and remember, don't place yourself in danger. If it gets though out there, you and little 'Snow' should immediately return to my side" said Mu Tian Ling to his daughter Mu Qingyu.
"OK. You men follow me. We're going to assist our guest" said Mu Qingyu to the surrounding guards.
"Yes young Miss" replied the guards.
All the guards that replied where personally groomed by the Mu family and they all had cultivations that were in the early and mid Profound realm but non had yet to achieve the late Profound as of yet.
Wu Han Town can be classified a relatively remote town. Unlike large towns or major cities, Wu Han was greatly lacking in its resources. There was a lack of decent cultivation materials and special facilities, not the mention the low concentration of profound qi in the area. All in all, it was a major achievement to have a cultivation at the Profound realm and the only one with a cultivation at the late was the city lord, Mu Tian Ling, thus the great need for beast cores.

On the battle field
The tide of charging beast were all relatively low leveled. There were mostly Nessant level beast with only a few being in the Profound realm and they ranged from early to late Profound but these strong beast were mainly situated at the back of the tide.
Even most of these beast where of relatively low level, they non the less in great great numbers and even thought Shen Long has a lot of experience dealing with a large amount off enemies at once, without the aid of the healing formation to heal his and fix his broken body, wiping out this beast tide on his own would basically be impossible and this was matter he clearly understood.
"I'll get rid of as much as I can, that should be enough help for them. But then again am having a bad feeling about this, something just doesn't feel right" thought Shen Long.
Trinity Sword!
Three large, golden broad swords materialized before Shen Long.
"Cleave!' shouted Shen Long as the the three broad swords sped towards the incoming beasts.
Pu! Pu! Pu!
Roar! Howl!
Continuous sounds of swords piercing fresh wrong in the air as the broad swords left a trail of blood wherever they pass. The trinity sword move wasn't a single use move, as long as the swords weren't destroyed and profound qi was constantly funneled into them, they wouldn't disappear.
Howoo!
Continuous howls of pain rang out has the broad swords sliced and smashed their way forward but each time a beast fell, another would take its place. There were thousands of beast in the tide Shen Longs efforts alone would hard make a difference. But just as he was about to release his purgatory, he heard a soft melodic voice shout from behind.
"Fairy Maiden Free Willow Dance!"
Turning his head, Shen Long saw that its was the lady wearing the veil along with ten other warriors, slashing at the beast that managed to get pass his swords.
Looking at the woman executing her sword arts made Shen Long momentarily stunned. It was his first time seeing such a beautiful and graceful woman kill. As a matter of fact, it was his first time seeing a woman kill before, both in his previous and present life.
"Such a profound sword art" thought Shen Long after see the 'Fairy Maiden Free Willow Dance' and after of deep thought he slowly made he way towards her whilst try to copy her from. The closer he got the more vacant and lifeless his eyes became as his hands moved faster and faster slashing and chopping the Nascent level beast.
"Hm?" It was at this moment that Mu Qingyu finally realized that Shen Long was heading in her direction and he was slowly but surely performing a sword art that was similar to her own and seeing how fast he was familiarizing himself with the sword arts, left her secretly astonished. After all, this was a sword art that was created by her after gaining enlightenment from the 'Willow Steps' Jade slip that was found in a mystic realm by her ancestors one thousand years ago.
While keeping her focus on the battle, Murphy Qingyu unknowingly started to compare her sword form against Shen Long's.
While analyzing the differences Mu Qingyu realized that her steps were as elegant as dancing fairy, each step she took would be accompanied by a beautiful s***h of her sword. As for the swords arts Shen Long was performing, there was a complete lack of elegance. As a matter of fact, each of his steps where as forceful as a tyrant, every s***h brutal and uncaring, reaping the lives of countless beast around him. Each s***h of his sword would create a small empty circle around him, a circle chopped off body parts.

Shen Long continued to be in a daze as he moved forward, slashing his way through the tide. But as he continued his brutal slashing, his body started to heat up. His bodily temperature started off a bit worm but as time pass by it rose to an uncomfortable degree and it was this moment that Shen Long awoken from his dazed state.
"Hm? How did I get over here? Hss! And why the hell am I burn up!" shouted Shen Long, his face a mix of bitterness and pain. "God damn it, last time I died and blanked out I woke up hearing the geezers voice, now I blanked out again and woke up with my body on fire! Is this some twisted joke?"he thought looking side to side as if looking for something or someone.
" What is he doing?" said Mu Qingyu aloud as she stared at Shen Long from not too far away.
"Young miss, the beasts are about the reach the city wall, we can keep them off by ourselves. If we don't retreat now we'll be surrounded and killed" said one of the guards anxiously as he starred at the uncountable amount of beast charging madly in their direction.
Hearing the guards suggestion, Mu Qingyu took a quick glance around the surroundings. There was close to a hundred beast that had slipped pass them and were swiftly making they're way towards the city walls.
"Retreat towards the city walls immediately, I'll stay here with him to kill as much as possible" said Mu Qingyu while pointing at Shen Long.
"Young miss I don't think that's a good idea. The city lord wouldn't agree to this" replied the guard.
"I've gave you an order, now go" Mu Qingyu.
"Alright" replied the guard, turn and dash towards the city along with the other guards.
"Fairy Maiden Free Willow Dance!"
Mu Qingyu continued to s***h at the beast but this time her sword s***h were faster and more fierce and occasionally sword lights would shoot out from her sword, opening a tunnel of m******e in front of her.
Meanwhile, a distance away, Shen Long was going mad from anger.
"Damn it, it's like I'm on fire! he screamed, dozens of chains shooting out of his body like high speeding arrows.
Pu! Pu! Pu!
About 12 monster got pierced immediately. Some had chains sticking through their heads and others in their sides, all of them dying on the spot.
"Ah, that feels much better" Shen Long. After releasing his chain guard, the high temperature that was burning inside his body subsided a little. It seems that the burning heat was due to an excessive amount of qi in his body.
"Well I guess I now know what's causing this shitty temperature. I guess it time to go all out on these beast. I wander how I should kill then? Burn then up or blow then up? Eheh it's a pity I can't smash them with my Mountain Incantation" murmured Shen Long with a smirk on his face.
"Hey, this isn't the time nor the place for you to be going crazy."
A melodic voice jagged Shen Long awake from his murmurings.
"Hey little sister, big brother here nearly forgot all about you" replied Shen Long with a smile which made him look demonically handsome.
"Who's your little sister?" replied Murphy Qingyu.
"You are of course. Anyway you should move back a distance, I'm going to roast some meat and I don't want to burn little sister here" replied Shen Long shamelessly.
"Fine" agreed Mu Qingyu.
Cosmic World
Shen Long pointed his finger into the air summoning the two giant globs and and eight medium orbs. He then sent them to hover above Mu Qingyu's head before say: "Don't worry this is just to protect you in case something goes wrong and I can't reach you in time."
"Thank you" replied Mu Qingyu before dashing back towards the city and stopping about a 100m away from Shen Long. She then re- engaged in battle with the beast once more.
Seeing that the lady had heeded his warning Shen Long then turn towards the tide that had already surrounded him and released his flames.
'Purgatory Lotus'
Hong!
Black flames came blazing out from Shen Longs body, spreading to a radius of 50metres all around. After the flames spread out, it took the shape of a beautiful, giant lotus in full bloom. The surroundings space began to have miner distortion because of the intense heat waves.
Howll! Roar!
All sorts of mournful cries rang out as the demon lotus burned all the beast that came into contact with it to ashes.
"Haha, burn for me" laughed Shen Long as he made a couple of hands signs.
'Manipulation'
Upon finishing the hand signs, the upper petals of the purgatory lotus detached themselves, flying pass the 50metres radius to about 5metres in every direction.
Hong! Hong! Hong!
The giant lotus petals fell from the sky and into the surroundings like a giant flaming bombs.
The beast tide instantly became a flaming hell, horrifying all the viewers on the city walls.
