My heat lasted for 3 more days before the constant hunger to be bedded started to abate, and we could leave each other’s company for longer than a few moments.
We had barricaded ourselves into the bedroom for the majority of the time. The times that we did leave the confines of the bedchamber, were either to head downstairs to the living floor below and eat, or to head out onto the terrace above.
