Chapter 13: Not Always Sugar & Everything Nice

1691 Words
*Millie* I can't believe those idiots! I was walking in revealing and non-nerdy-like clothes halfway to school trying to figure out how I was going to explain these clothes to my class. No wait, the entire flipping school. I heard a car stop beside me and saw the two jerks and Tyler getting out of the challenger. "Are you crazy?! Who in the world would jump from a two-story house bathroom window with 2 inch ankle boots on?!", Jamie started screaming at me. If it wasn't for you dumb****s I wouldn't have to jump out of the window, is what I wanted to scream, but I just I ignored him by jumping in the back noticing my school bag back here already to go. The two dimwits and Tyler followed back into the car. "We're not done with this talk", Jamie grumbled from the shotgun seat and Chris stared at me angrily. I again ignore it by shoving my earbuds in while I'm waiting for the first day in my last year of hell to enter my view. Rainville High (Don't think it's a real school), or Devils' Death Bed as the students that hate school call it. A big school filled with mainly hookers, w*****s, manw*****s, s**ts, jocks, and bad****s. Very few nerds and geeks here. This was renamed 'Expelled Central' after most kids that come here are usually the ones expelled out of the nicer schools in the area. Straight A students don't have a choice, usually if they end up here, because the other schools are more expensive or have very strict guidelines and rules to follow. I fall under the nerd category, as well as I at least did until this year. We rolled up to school and I jumped out of the car, not caring about the stares, the whistles, the catcalls, or the nasty underhanded words said behind my back. I've heard them all before. Every curse burned into my brain from the past. That's where I get my fuel to fight, to race, and to beat down every bully I cross. I'm tired of only showing light to these scum, I thought, smirking. Let's show them my darkness too. I walked into the school my head held high eyeing every single person who snarled, growled, gasped, and everything in between until someone met my path. I looked at the tall kid's hazel eyes watching them comb over me in l**t. Disgusting. "Hey honey. What's up? I've never seen you here before, so let me show you some of Rainville High's finest in action some time, darling", he said, licking his lips. I knew exactly who this was. Tony Bennett, best all-round player, a**hole, and manw***e. "Get away you f***ing a**hole before I put you six feet under", I growled dangerously, feeling my eyes lit into flames. The quiet whispers gone silent eyes bored into me with shock, disbelief, and anger. Tony's mouth was gapped open in shock before rubbing his eyes and then looking at me again. "Nerd?!", was all he could shout, pointing. Really? "Who dares to call my sister a nerd?!", I heard a loud shout and multiple feet storming towards me. "I said who dares!?", Jamie shouted loudly next to my ear. "Yo, Jame kill it before you kill my hearing bro", I said rubbing my left ear. "W-Who are y-you?", Tony stuttered out. Well, I guess seeing someone you have bullied surrounded by three guys taller and broader than you should be intimidating. "Her brother", Jamie said in a duh tone. "Her best friend", both Tyler and Chris said at the same time. There was silence for some more time. Damn I hate silent. Til the bell rang. Yes, freedom, freedom, Ffffrrrrrreeeeedddddoooommmm!!! "Bye, bro. See ya later", I said, leaving the situation and tension with it. I walked to class, opened the door and plopped down on the front far left corner desk near the first one in and out, nice, I thought smirking. The class started to fill up slowly, people moving into seats away from me, which was awesome. Alone time at last, I thought, sighing. Suddenly, the last person walked into the room and up to my desk. "Comfy much, heifer", they said, I was trying not to smirk at their words. "Hell yea, trucker and you ain't going to ruin it", I said trying not to smile. "Oh yeah!", the girl in front of me said, slamming her hands on my desk. "Heck yea", I said flinging my desk chair back. We stood there for a minute, knowing everyone was waiting for a fight, before we started busting out laughing at their reactions and bear hugging each other. Everyone meets Carrie, Chris's sis and my best friend/sister for forever. "My sister from another mister, how's life", I said, releasing her so she could sit beside me at the double desk. "Same old same old. What about you, girl? You dressing up for someone special?", Carrie said all gitty like. "Nope. Yours and my brother's finest work?", I replied, rolling my eyes. Thank god the teacher walked in about that time so no more integration. "I'm Mr.G-", he said. No, that's not all he said. I zoned out after that. Welp, I'll just call him that then. I have a tendency to zone out until I hear the bell but still remember what he says if it's really important. Like history with Mr.G, classes go by like a flash until one of the best hours of the day to come, lunch! Yes, I'm a goodie two shoes foodie. I adore and worship all of the lunch ladies. I know all of their children, pet's names, birthdays, and anniversaries down to a T. I skip to the lunch room, avoiding everyone as well as everything in the hallway along the way. "Millie! Slow down damn", Carrie shouted from behind. I stopped and waited for her to catch up. "You're so slow. I have a lot to do, you know. I have to ask about Amelia's dog, Patty's husband, and Laura's engagement", I said, walking at the speed of the breathless Carrie. "How can you be this excited about lunch?!", She tried to yell but it came out as a whisper. "How can you not? I mean everyone together in one place so you can sneak away and hide on the roof or help the lunch ladies clean up during Physical Education", I sighed out. "Why are you complaining?! You work out 4 hours a day just by boxing?!", she yells as we walk in the lunchroom and it silences. Of course she had to recover her voice now?! I just walked to the lunch line, avoiding the stares. *Lucas* "She works out 4 hours a day?!", Ron whispered-yelled as she continued walking in. "Yes. Why?", I asked. "And how do you know that?!", A screeching voice said from beside me. "Because we're neighbors now, Stephanie", I sighed out, annoyed by her voice. "She better not try and steal my man", Stephanie pouted. I wish she would, I thought, mentally rolling my eyes. "She's so beautiful", I heard Ted sigh from beside me. I looked up to see Millie laughing with her friend and the lunch ladies. "I wouldn't cross that road dude. Don't you see the way Tyler looks at her?", Ron responded. "She sees him as a brother", I said, seeing Ted's face light up. Damn it. Why are you helping him? My conscience screamed at me?! Because I'm his buddy and also her friend, I responded. Yeah friend, it spat back at me. "Hey dude. Are you OK?". I looked up to see Ted in front of me. "Yeah. Just zoned out", I replied. "I know. I asked what she likes to do three times already?", he said, smacking his head. "Besides putting up a good show for her parents' visitors and dressing like a hobo, or fighting to music", I said trying to blow off this conversation. "She likes to dance fight?!", Ted yelled excitement. "Yes", I replied stiffly. "Well, I can take her anytime, anywhere and any day babe because I'm the best and she's not", Stephanie said snuggling her breast against my arm. "Is that a fact, Jack?!", I heard a yell across the other side of the room. I looked to see a dangerous looking Millie with an amused twin and friends in tow towards us. "Yes it is you wanna be, fighter", Stephanie replied, making me choke on my cola. "Oh. So I'm a wannabe, huh?! Well, then how do you explain all these", she threw her jacket towards Jamie and started to show us her legs, arms, thighs and sides. "These scars are worn with honor and pride, honey. Let's see yours? Wait, do you need twenty wipes for each scar to see under that makeup or do we just need to call your plastic surgeon since he's good at doing fake things?". The room was filled with tension and shock. Yes, everyone's shocked that the quiet kid has gone bad. "I'm too good to get scars", Stephanie snapped. "Not true honey bunches. You'll always have these", she said, showing her knuckles off. They looked like World War 3 happened on them. "Anyways what, where, and what style?", Millie said, crossing her arms. "Why?", Stephanie asked worriedly. "Because I'm going to take you down town Charlie brown. But I am not going to give you a nickel, a pickle, or a flower until you show me some power. Because all you talk about is s**t, w***e of the inauguration with no dedication. Can hear a burn from any good sirs", Millie rapped the burn to Stephanie. "Good job there, Mark", the unfamiliar boy said to Millie, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Thanks, Christy", she said, smiling up to the 6ft boy. "I'm going to Rocks gym after school on grove", Millie said as her and her gang finished walking out of the dead silent room with a fuming Stephanie. "I'm going to get my pride back today", she said slamming her tray into the trash. "Mes toos", Ted sighed.
