Chapter 10: A Surprise Filling

*Lucas* "I uh. I-I-I kinda hi-hit your baby in the garage", he stuttered out. Oh s**t. I looked over to see a very furious Millie. "You get five seconds", she mumbled. Her fists were pure white and her eyes darker than midnight. Tyler ran and I mean ran. It looked like the dust was still standing where he was just at but she was faster. He got to the stairs and she took off like a bullet. Damn, is this the lazy girl in school I made fun of because she was active in any and everything. A sudden scream let both Jamie and me know Tyler didn't get far. "Started praying that his soul is saved", Jamie mumbled, before running to the staircase with me behind. What the hell did he hit of hers?! *Millie* I flew to the stairs and up them. No, I don't care if my parents are home or guests are still in the house or even if the fidging twins are asleep. He touched my f**king precious baby. "Oh Tyler. Your time is up", I said in a haunted voice before running and jumping on him as he opened the door. "I'm sorry! I'm so frickin sorry! I'll pay for all the damage I swear!!!", he screamed, frantically trying to get me off his back. "You touch my baby, my sweet innocent ride, and you expect mercy! Ah hell no!", I yelled out. "Millie May Waters! Get off that poor boy's back right now!", my mother screamed. "I'll make you poor once I break your bank account", I whispered in his ear and relaxed a little before I finished evilly grinning", and your body in two places". "I'm sorry, m. I didn't mean to text and drive when I-". "You were texting while going into my garage you little-", I snarled. "Don't you finish that sentence, young lady", dad said sternly, just walking in on the conversation, " and please get off the lad. What did he do anyways?". "He hit my baby in the garage", shooting him a you-know-what look. "Tyler, you didn't?", he said, trying to hold in his laughter. "He did", I said, finally climbing off Tyler and smacked him in his head," while he was texting!". "I said I was sorry, woman. Damn, you should be a frickin principal. I doubt any kid would want a punishment or detention with you", Tyler scowled while rubbing his head. "I'm sorry for my daughter's temper", my mother said. For the first time, I realized that Lucas's parents were still there. Ah s**t. "It's OK. She is a feisty one though", Lucas's father laughed along with my father. "That she is", my mother sighed out in frustration. I just shrugged my shoulders. "I didn't hear any more screaming from the banshee. Did you kill him? Because if you're hiding a body, you're doing it yours-", Jamie talked with Lucas, following him while coming up the stairs until he stopped at the top of them and was face to face with our parents. Shock was in their faces as they gazed at him. My parents walked towards us. Mom's eyes held waterfalls upon waterfalls of tears when she stepped up to hug him. "I'm home, momma. I'm home", Jamie cooed to her muffled sobs. "My baby boy's alive. And he's home", she sobbed, clinging to him for dear life. "And I'm safe, momma", Jamie replied softly. As my mom pulled back to rub her son's face. He had his hair and nose while he got dad's eyes and built. I, on the other hand, was the complete opposite with her eyes and build with dad's hair and eyes. Hey, I never said we were identical twins, just twins. "Welcome home, my boy", dad said proudly, holding in his emotions. "Hello, dad", Jamie said with respect. Our father served in Iraq as a Air Force fighter pilot in 2004. Jamie and I were about two years old when he left. Little did we know his time was short. In March 2006, his plane was clipped by a missile on a rescue and recovery mission. He escaped by parachute from the plane before it crashed. He had a sprang wrist and a dislocated knee but he was alive. Dad dragged him into a hug. "Welcome home", he whispered. "This is my son Jamie. Jamie this is Lucas's parents, Samantha and Chris", my mom said after she composed herself to talk again. "Its nice to meet you both", Jamie replied, smiling easily. "Oh my. He is handsome, isn't he Chris? A handsome boy and a gorgeous girl that's well behaved. Cathy, you are so lucky", Samantha gushed. Jamie and I swapped looks. If you knew the real us, what would you say then? "Its late and school is tomorrow so we better get going", Samantha said. "Let me send you out", my mom replied. Once the parents were out of the room, we said our goodbyes, walking to Tyler's car. "You better not have wrecked it or scratched it too bad, you a**hole", I grumbled, stomping towards the garage with the boys in tow. I opened the door and screamed to see my baby on its side. "My darling!", I said, running to my bike, picking it up. "How dare you just leave her like that, you b*****d", I growled. "I said I was sorry and I'll pay for it too". "You better!", I said looking in their way since we walked in Tyler stood wide eye looking from the bike to me and back again. What is his problem?
