The Breakup

Silas I’ve been spending more time in my dad’s shed more than I ever have since we got it. My dad got this shed when my mom put him out the house a few years back. He made it into a studio apartment at that time. It has a kitchen and a bathroom, so it made a nice man cave. Since he been back in the house, he uses the shed to work in when he doesn’t want any distractions. Since he travels a lot for work the place is usually locked. I got the keys from him last time I saw him, and he trust me, so he didn’t really give me trouble. What I wanted to use it for did not turn out to be my dreams. Emily has been on some s**t since I got the da*n keys. “I heard you hunched Shay.” She stood in front of me with her hands on her hips. “You heard I what?” I sat back in my chair with my elbow leaning on the table and my hand supporting my head. Causing my cheek to puff up from the way I’m leaning on it. “Is it true?” “What are you talking about?” “Did you hook up with her?” she shrieked. “If I did, what that got to do with you?” “I’m your freaking girlfriend! What do you mean? “I haven’t touched any other woman during the duration of us.” I leaned back in the chair dropping my hand on the table. Fighting the urge to grab her while she’s mad. “Is that why you didn’t introduce me to her? Because you had s*x?” “Chill we didn’t have s*x. Why did you want to meet her so bad?” I question her in return. “I just find it weird you skipped over her.” “I skipped over a few of them.” “Whatever Silas.” She threw her arms up then turned her back to me and hugged herself. Her turning her back pissed me of. I swear girls want to get their feelings hurt sometimes. She starts pacing back and forth making herself mad for whatever reason. I’d understand if I cheated on her emotional a*s, but I didn’t. “You done?” I ask her, controlling my own attitude. “No! She’s fake for smiling in my face knowing she was just making out with you!” She yells turning back towards me. “Watch. Your. Tone.” I warn her sternly. “Oh, right.” She nods her head frantically like a crazy woman. “Ask your last question before I end this conversation.” “If I kissed a boy while we were ‘talking.’ you wouldn’t be mad?” “Nope” I answer honestly, Getting turned on by her anger. “Seriously?” She stands in front of me stunned. “You weren't my girl, that ain’t my problem.” “Ugh! You are such a jerk!” “Bend over.” I exhale. She looks at me with blush red cheeks. “One last question.” She says and I point down. “Am I your problem?” She asks while pulling her pants down and bending over. “At this very moment?” I question, snatching her panties down. “Forget it, I’m sorry.” She says adjusting herself over my knee. “Count.” I say before my hand falls flat on her a*s. I spank her five times before she stands up and moves to her knees. She rubs my erection through my pants before hesitating to take it out. “Silas, would you sleep with her if we were together right now.” She looks up at me through glossy eyes. I grunt and stand up moving to the cabinet. I hand her a pack of numbing cream and she knows instantly we’re done here. “Wow, I can’t believe this.” “So?” I watch her rub the cream on her a*s. If she’s breaking up with me this whole s**t could have been avoided. Who the f*ck wants to yell or listen to someone yell for hours? “I’m not your girlfriend anymore. Now you can screw whoever you want.” She yanks her pants up. “Are you sure?” I ask her plainly. Emily is the first girl to submit to me as her Dom. It’s going to suck not playing with her, but I want more than this anyway. “That’s what I said.” She crossed her arms and looked at the ground hesitating. She knew she was overreacting, ain’t no way she couldn’t know. “Okay.” I shrug and accept her request. “That’s it?” She’s stunned and can now look me in the eyes. “What do you want me to say?” Her eyes shoot to my pants zipper then back to my eyes. “Do you still want it?” I smirk at her. Emily wanted to give me her v card before she decided to cry about Shay today. That was our original plans anyway. “Ugh! Forget it, I’ll see myself out.” Her face and her eyes are both tomato red now. I don’t know what game this is but it ain’t it. The dome ain’t that da*n good to go through this. “We’re in my father's shed. It ain't like you’re walking far.” This girl has been giving me a headache about a different girl all week. Half of the chicks she named I don’t even know. For someone who swears she knows her man ain’t a cheater she sure does believe everybody over me. When the hell did, she become so insecure? Narrators P.O.V Two days after Silas and Emily broke up Shay was sitting in the back yard with Tiana and Samantha playing Uno. They filled her in about the breakup and how Emily was calling her a man stealing b*tch. Shay, completely lost, didn’t see how she had anything to do with their relationship or how she stole a boy she’s not even with. “I’m minding my business; how did I make them break up? If anything, I helped them be together by lying to her mom for her.” “Tiffany told her you slept with Silas.” Sam informed her. “What? I’m a virgin!” Shay blurts out. “Chrissy said it was when y’all played truth or dare. Something about y’all kissing and moaning.” Tiana said. “That is not what happened, and it was so long ago. Way before I ever heard Emily’s name.” “No, Tiff said, Chrissy said you slept with him and Sin after the basement party.” Sam side eyes Shay. “Literally slept! The three of us fell asleep on the floor while watching a movie. Chrissy knows that.” Shay snaps. “Lucky you. I mean you did kiss Sy before, so...” Samantha said. “Did anybody mention that they weren't together when we kissed. And I never had s*x with anyone before.” Shay argues. “I don’t think she cares about any of that. She’s been hanging out with a girl who kissed her boyfriend she probably feels lied to.” Tiana suggests. “Well, that’s not the way you handle it, she could’ve asked me.” Shay got up from the table and went up to Silas room to talk to him about the situation. She tried to open his door to no avail. Knocking on his door until her knocks turned into bangs and he finally opens it. “Why?” Silas looked at her while rubbing his sleepy eyes. “Why is your girlfriend walking around telling lies about me?” “Ex-girlfriend.” “Whatever! Why is my name in her mouth?” Shay pushed past Silas entering his room. She walked to the far end of his room and sat in his computer desk chair with her arms crossed against her chest. Silas, unfazed by her outburst got back in bed and folded a pillow under his head before closing his eyes. “I’m not playing with you.” Shay kicked the side of his bed. “I never said you were.” He spoke with his eyes still closed. “Tell her to stop.” “Stop what?” He looked at her while still lying-in bed with his arm resting on his forehead. “Forget it I’ll tell her myself. Somebody needs to correct that stupid girl, might as well be me.” Shay spat. “Chill, I’ll talk to the girl.” “Whatever Silas, I’ll handle it myself.” Shay got up and stormed out of Silas room, slamming the door behind her. Only to be fussed at by Mr. Hendrix, for slamming doors in his house. Silas got up with an obvious attitude and threw some sneakers on to go after Shay and talk to Emily. He apologized to his father for the disruption on his way down the stairs and asked his mom which door Shay left out of; only to find her sitting on the front steps when he left out. Shay decided against going to Emily’s house to confront her being that her parents are biased, and Emily is an obvious liar. “Where are you going?” She looked Silas over from head to toe. “Is your bipolar a*s done being crazy?” “Why am I in your mess?” “If I knew I’d tell you.” Shay rolled her eyes then walked around the side of the house going back to the backyard. By this time, it was full of regular people who hung out back there. Chrissy and Tiffany joined Samantha and Tiana in a game of Uno. JJ wrestled with Sion over a pair of sneakers Sincere would give one of them. And of course, Sincere was recording the fight for his Share Worlds channel. Silas went and stood idly on the side of Sin watching the boys tackle each other and Shay went to the table with the girls. “Were you with Silas?” Tiffany asks with a nasty tone. “Is that any of your business?” Shay growls. “What’s with the attitude?” Chrissy steps back offended. “I just asked a question.” Tiffany changed her tone. “Why did you tell Emily I did all that with him as if that were any of her business? As if it were true?” “I was just talking, and she asked how close the two of you are.” Tiffany explains quickly. “You told Emily?” Chrissy asks surprised. “Why did you tell Tiffany?” Shay directs her attitude to Chrissy. “I don’t know it just came out.” Chrissy admits with her hands up. “How?” Shay asks angrily. “Tiffany suggested a sleepover and it reminded me of that. Then you were dancing on him like you loved him right before.” “I knew that was Silas you were dancing with. I saw his grey eyes when the light shined on him after you walked away.” Tiffany chimes in. “You were jealous that night.” Shay pointed at Chrissy, angry. “Not over you and Silas, and that’s not why I told.” Chrissy yells. “That was just a dance, and we all fell asleep later that night. I didn’t have s*x with anybody! Point is, y’all need to stop spreading rumors about me. You’re both causing unnecessary problems and you ruined his relationship.” “If I ruined his relationship than why is she here?” Tiffany pointed at Emily. “What?” Shay turned around to see Emily coming from around the side of the house toward Silas. Shay shot to her feet and sped walked all the way to Emily. Tiffany stood up and watched, waiting to see what she’d do or say to the girl. Chrissy followed behind Shay but stayed a few steps behind her. She didn’t want Emily to feel like she was being ganged up on. Silas saw Shay headed towards Emily and started walking toward her himself to diffuse what he thinks is about to happen. “Oh, s**t…” Silas thought out loud. The boys stopped wrestling to see what was going on. Sincere focused his camera on Emily’s now worried expression when she noticed Shay. Shay made it to Emily before Silas and stopped in front of her cutting off her step. “Baby girl!” Shay shouted with a bit of aggravation in her tone. “Excuse me. I’m here to see Silas, not you.” Emily said, sounding like a complete snob. “And you see him.” She turned towards Silas then back towards Emily. “Now if you’re going to be here sitting up under him all day even though you “think” something happened between Silas and myself then that’s your choice. But before you walk around thinking you’re going to do and say whatever you want about me just because he’s your “boyfriend” you better be ready to catch this a*s whooping.” “Nobody told you to touch my boyfriend and think it was going to be okay.” Emily stood on what she said. “Stupid girl he wasn’t your boyfriend then and unless something changed in the last ten minutes he’s not now. You need to accept that you made a fool of yourself over, “he says, she says” and move on.” Shay said stepping closer this time standing directly in front of Emily. “Why were you asking about me anyway?” Shay adds. “I’m no fool, he’s mine. I saw how you looked at him, all lovestruck. Why are you kissing a boy that’s not your boyfriend?” “Because I can do as I got da*n, please. Emily, are you sure he’s your boyfriend now?” Shay disregards Emily’s comment. “That’s what I came to talk to you about.” Emily focused her attention on Silas who stood to the side of both her and Shay. He was close enough to stop them from fighting but far enough to not seem like he picked a side. Shay rolled her eyes when Silas looked to be considering getting back with Emily after she dragged Shay’s name through the mud. Shay crossed her arms over her chest and waited for him to respond. “Wait, you’re asking him to be your boyfriend?” Sincere asked Emily, breaking the silence. “Yes, and this time little Ms. Hot lips will stay away from him.” “Wow…” Sion drags. “Hot lips?” JJ repeats. Shay narrowed her eyes and while everyone else seemed tickled by what Emily said, she had other plans. She dusted off her clothes and took a step closer to Emily. “Until then—" Shay walked up to Silas pulled his face down closer to hers and kissed him on the lips. While she forced her tongue in his mouth, Shay felt Silas once stiff body loosen up. He grabbed her hips before she parted from him. Silas ran his fingers over his lips as if he’s been shocked. Shay locked her fingers behind her back once more and walked towards the back door of the house. Before she went in, she turned to Emily and blew her a kiss from the palm of her hand. “--Be mad about that.” “Shay!” Chrissy screamed laughing. “She does this stuff on purpose.” Silas shook his head. “You’re gonna put an end to it and be with me now, right?” “Nope, he likes it.” Sin answered her for him. “You know what? Forget I came over here.” Emily rumbles. “Sin, chill out.” Silas says before stepping closer to Emily. “You’re right, I will not let her get to me. You’ll stop being friends with that w***e so we can be together, right?” Emily studies him. “I need to think about that, I’ll call you later.” He says directly. “You need to think about it?” Emily mumbles. “That's what I said.” Silas says clearly. “I told you.” Sin shrugs. “Fine, you better call me, Silas! And stop talking to me Sincere!” Emily left the yard with an attitude and an overload of embarrassment. That was the last time they spoke to her after whatever she and Silas talked about on the phone that night. It’s safe to say he didn’t accept her relationship offer and he’s not okay with being lied about, or with people lying on his friends. The rumors died down a little since that day a month ago. Now Silas is in the mall with McGee when he sees Shay in the food court with Tiana and decides to bother her. “What did you steal?” He put his finger in her bag to open it and peek inside. “Nothing, mind your business.” Shay smacks his hand. “What’s up, Tiana.” Silas says as he sits across from Shay. “Hello Silas, McGee.” She smiles. “Tiana, baby. Let me treat you to a parfait on me.” McGee offers. “Sure.” They got up and walked to the yogurt stand. McGee tried to put his arm around her waist, and she slaps his hand away. “He does know she won’t get with him, right?” Shay asks as she watch them walk away. “He has hope.” Silas bit down on his folded lips. “Can I ask you something?” Silas looks at her with a calm expression waiting for her to ask her question. “What happened with you, Sin and Chrissy?” “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He looked at her a little puzzled. “Sin doesn’t like her or…” “I don’t know, he doesn’t talk about her.” He shrugs. “What happened in Sins room between you two?” “Wouldn’t you like to know.” He smirked. “Did you?” “No. She was upset you danced on Sincere but pissed at herself because you’re her best friend and she thinks you would never hurt her. Plus, I told her it was just a dance.” “That’s why she apologized.” “Correct, you’re welcome. I didn’t lie to you that night and got cursed out anyway.” “I’m sorry Sy.” “Gonna take more than that, I’m hurt.” He looked away feigning hurt. “Want a hug?” “No, I want a kiss like the one you give me when you were jealous.” Shay smacked her lips. “I don’t get jealous.” “Emily?” He tilted his head to the side examining her face. “I wasn’t jealous, I was mad. And how many times have you kissed me for your own reason?” “Never like that. And we’re different now, so unless you’re gonna finish it, don’t kiss me like that again.” He reprimanded. “That’s not a problem.” She said leaning forward as if it made her statement more believable. Shay knew exactly what he meant; things are really different now. “Good.” “Good.” Silas got up from the table when McGee and Tiana got back, and they all left together. ********************************************************************************************************* Many months has passed since that day. This summer, Shay went to stay with her dad for a month and came back into more drama. Before she left, Shay would spend the weekends at Tina’s house as usual. She would argue with them and fistfight Silas as if he was her worst enemy. Things got heated between them more than ever before. Shay has gotten into a number of fights with different girls over different things. More than half of those fights were with girls dating Silas and a few of Sincere’s girlfriends who couldn’t stand the sight of Shay. But when she got back everything changed, she refused to fight another girl because of them.
