Silas
I’m at the pool watching my girl Alicia, circle around the poolside with her friends. I know Alicia’s waiting to see if Chrissy and them show up. She didn’t hold back on telling me how much “those little girls” get on her nerves. After Emily told people that lie, not one of my girlfriends trusts that my friendship with Shay is platonic. Alicia came off like she didn’t care about the rumors. She was cool until she found out Shay is allowed to come inside when Alicia can’t come into the house at all. I hate that rule almost as much as she does, but my mother would kill me if she popped up and saw any of our friends that she didn’t approve of in her house. I haven’t saw Shay since she’s been back in New York. But lately It’s like Alicia is dating me to keep tabs on her. Alicia said my dad’s shed in the back made her feel like a w***e, so we don’t use it often. Even though it looks like a studio apartment, with new furniture. If it’s not in the main house, she doesn’t want it.
“Aye Silas, you seen Sion?” McGee walked up to me on the lounge chair.
“Nah. why?”
“I just overheard that girl over there say she’s planning to go all the way with her boyfriend. Then her friends said they will too when they get boyfriends.”
“So, you’re going to try and get with them?”
“That’s the plan.” He clapped his hands then rubbed them together.
“Who are they?”
“I don’t know the other girls’ names, but Alicia said she’s going all the way with her boyfriend. He’s lucky as hell because Alicia looks delicious.” McGee pointed towards them then licked his lips when he spoke about Alicia.
“Bro! Alicia is Silas girlfriend.” Sion said as he joined us, hearing the tail end of what McGee was saying.
“Holy s**t. My bad Silas, but you are lucky.”
“No worries.” I nodded at him, amused at the sight of relief that flash on his face. Sion continued talking to McGee, but my attention was focused on Chrissy, Shay, and Tiana, as they walked past Alicia and her friends. As they made their way around the pool Alicia made eye contact with me before getting up to walk towards me. She sped up to get to me before the girls. As she walked next to Shay for a split second, I compared the two. I’ve always been a fan of how beautiful Shay is, but I never understood why girls hated her until now. I watched different guys break their necks trying to see and speak to her. Shay was a small girl, but her thick thighs and round a*s made her look full. Every time she came back from one of her vacations, she’d have ten times more curves than she had when she left. Her chest wasn’t as big as Alicia’s, but they were round, perky, and looked good in her bathing suit. The shorts she wore over her one piece wasn’t buttoned and exposed her tiny waistline. Shay is evil and all but if I were to call anyone in here “delicious” it’d be her.
“Babe you ready to get in the pool?” Alicia asks quickly.
“Nah, I can’t swim.” I lie.
“Stop playing, come in the water with me.”
“Who said anything about playing?”
“Awe, you’re serious?” She smirks.
“That s**t ain’t funny.” I look her over then turn my head away from her being dramatic.
“Come on I’ll teach you.” She flirts.
“Nah, I’m good.”
“Come on, you can hold on.” She kept pulling my arm trying to get me to move.
“Hey y’all!” Chrissy exclaims.
“Hi.” Alicia says while pulling my arm.
“Who needs to hold on?” Tiana asks being nosy.
“Alicia, No. Tiana, you nosy as hell.” I stop Alicia.
“Come on, you can hold on to me the whole time.”
“Okay.” I always planned on going with her, but now I agreed early to avoid conflict. I see why Alicia was rushing, she didn’t want me to speak to them. And her grip got tighter on my arm.
Shay
Alicia and Silas went to get in the pool in a hurry. I didn’t bother speaking to them, especially not after I spoke Silas to before I left. He already let me know that she didn’t like me just like his last few girlfriends. None of that mattered to me no way. I still watched her though, she’s the only one that has her friends watching me as if she wants to fight me. It bothers me when I don’t do anything, and people create problems with me in their heads. I should give her a reason to be mad since she wants to hate me so bad. I didn’t come here today to be stalked by her friends while she’s wrapped around Silas in the pool. If he’s not paying me any attention, why are they?
“Little lady! Say hi to the camera.” Sincere walked up in front of us with his camera and his own killer smile.
“How do I look?” I started doing different poses in front of the camera. I let my hair down and pretended to be a supermodel. Sion and JJ joined me and started posing doing our ratchet form of voguing.
“You look a little too good, cover up!” Sin threw his towel at me from off his shoulder.
“Oh, shut up, get in the pool with me please.” I asked sweetly before rubbing my hands through my hair pushing it back. I haven’t had a bang since I was twelve and I’m starting to miss it.
“Sion hold my camera. Come on girl, with your non swimming a*s.” I’ve never learned how to swim, and I've never really put in any effort to learn. Sin jumped into the pool splashing anyone who was close enough to get splashed and I want down the latter after I took my shorts off. A few childish boys whistled while I was getting in, but I ignored them per usual. Sincere let me get on his back while he swam under the water around the deep side. When he brought me back to five feet, I got off his back and stayed on the side of the pool.
“Unhand me before your warden gets mad.” Sin jokes.
“Why do you call him stuff like that?” He has been doing this for the longest now. Silas does not control me.
“Shay, he claimed your evil a*s a long time ago.” He cuts his eyes to Silas. “But I don’t know, Alicia might change that.” He smirks looking at the two.
“There’s nothing to change.” I look at them, recalling how long they’ve been dating now. “They’re serious huh?” I ask realizing they are going past Silas two months marker now. Sincere got distracted by a girl from his class and left me without answering. Chrissy swims over to me, grabs my hands and walks me to the middle of the pool. I catch Silas watching us with a crooked smile on his face.
“Let’s go back to the wall” I say panicky.
“No, when I let your hands go, you’ll float as long as you don’t panic.” I watch as Silas whisper something in Alicia’s ear before he kisses her on the lips and let go of her.
“Okay I can float by the wall.” I tried moving my legs to get back to the wall, but nothing happened.
“Fine, take yourself back to the wall, and I’ll follow behind you.” I closed my eyes nodding then opened them again. I looked away from Chrissy and saw Silas take off swimming towards us. At this time Chrissy let go of my hands and instead of floating like she said, I turned around to go back to the side of the pool and fell underwater. Chrissy pulls me up while she was trying not to laugh at my near-death experience. Silas grabs my leg under the water, stopping Chrissy from helping me get back to the wall.
“I thought you couldn’t swim!” Alicia came towards us but when she got close Silas yanked me down underneath the water with him. I squeezed my eyes shut and wrapped my arms around his neck. He swam towards the five feet end of the pool and stood up so I could let go of him and hold on to the wall.
“You Ight?” He asks me as if he actually cared.
“Do you want to kill me?” I rubbed my hands down my face, spitting out water.
“Why your scary a*s so dramatic?”
“You’re an asshole Silas!” I splashed water at him while he laughed at me. This is part of the reason I don’t come to the pool with them. They get joy out of scaring and torturing me knowing I can’t swim. Alicia swam toward us with top speed and Chrissy trailed behind her. Tiana wasn’t in the water, but she came over to the side of the pool when she saw Alicia’s friends get in the pool while still watching me.
“ARE YOU SERIOUS?” Alicia shouts.
“What’s the problem?” Silas plays dumb.
“What did you do underwater?”
“What?” He chuckles.
“You said you can’t swim so what were you doing with her?”
“Girl you’re tripping. I said that so I could hold you the whole time. All I did was grab her and bring her over here because she can’t swim. Seeing this girl scared of something that’s not at all scary is pure comedy.” Seeing Silas light up about torturing me showed me just how evil this boy really is. This was the first time I’ve spent time with him since I came back. I didn’t realize how much I missed just hanging out with this evil creature.
“You just wanted to hold me?” Alicia started to blush a little after she said that. She then gave her friends a side eye and started cheesing at whatever Silas was saying to her in a hushed tone. I signaled for Tiana to help me out of the pool since I was a little too lazy to go around to the latter. I climbed out the pool feeling eyes on me. I went and sat on the chair drying off behind Sion and McGee. While I started putting my shorts on, I overheard McGee talking.
“She meant what she said, look at her.”
“Who are you talking about?” Sion asked.
“Alicia bro… she’s going to give it up to him.”
“Alicia said she’s going to have s*x with Silas?”
“She said she’s going all the way with him tonight.”
“I’m not surprised she’s going to do it; I’m shocked she told you.”
“She didn’t tell me; she told her friends.” McGee said in a “Duh” tone.
“Girls are secret freaks.”
“Her friends said they want to do it too.”
“With Silas? He’s getting all the action.” Sion sounded envious.
“No dummy, they want to get boyfriends so they could do it. Let’s go talk to them.” McGee nudges Sion.
“I gotta girl but asks JJ he might be interested.” Sion suggested. McGee was always scamming on girls. Though I’m quite sure he’s still a virgin even though he claims to have been with a girl. Never mind McGee, I have to tell JJ I'm not spending the night with them at the Hendrix house tonight. I don’t plan on getting in trouble with them if they find out Silas had that girl in the house; let alone in his room.
“Shay?” Chrissy calls me.
“Yeah?”
“Tina is here to pick us up are you coming or is your mom coming?”
“She’s going to pick me up from Tina’s after I call her.”
“I thought you were going to stay the night so we can finish our match.” JJ inquired.
“What match?” Chrissy asked.
“WWE game on the PlayStation with Sion. It’s a tournament and his mom lets us blast the tv.”” I explain to her.
“Cool can I play?” She asks.
“Sure, you can take my place.”
“Why, what's wrong with you?” JJ felt my forehead for a fever.
“Ma said let’s go, whoever isn't in her car in three minutes is getting left.” Silas says before he leaves to talk to his girlfriend. We went to get in her car and left the pool without both Silas and Sin. I guess they’d have to find another way home. Or maybe this was easier for them since they planned on sneaking girls in the house. They might just use the shed. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it at the pool. Chrissy asked JJ about it on the sly while we were on our way there. But of course, he didn’t tell us much. In fact, he made it seem like this was a normal thing for them. Have I really been away for that long?
