Shay
“Control yourself Samantha. And no, I'm not spending the night.” I answer them both; I think I would know if she was really dating Silas. She definitely wouldn’t be this quiet right now if she was
“Awe, I want you to stay.” He fakes a pout as he leaned in pressing his bottom lip to my lips for me to kiss him. I cut my eyes at the parentals to see if they were looking first. I can feel my palms sweating after I quickly kiss him and take my hand back. As much as I’d hate to admit it, I stayed away because I started looking at Silas differently with the casual kisses and random hormone spikes. Sam and Tiff gasps behind me.
“Why?” I asked, failing to think of anything else to say.
“Who else is going to make my sandwiches when mama says no?” I rolled my eyes at him, and Samantha cleared her throat to get Silas attention. As they spoke, I stepped to the side giving them space. He brushed off kissing me as if it was a normal thing to do when Sam asked. I glance at both of them when I heard them. Tiffany then stepped in front of me blocking my view.
“What was that about?” She asks with her hand on her hip.
“What are you talking about? Sam is making her move I guess.” I Assume, Samantha was always an outspoken girl, she’s bold too.
“Not that, she doesn’t stand a chance with him. Why is he letting you kiss him?” She asks while scrunching up her nose.
“It’s nothing, we’re just friends.” I wave her question off.
“Oh, so you’re just his plaything when he’s bored.” She says.
“Excuse me?” I frown at her “His what?” I hear Sam ask him to be her boyfriend after confirming we’re not together.
“You know, his friend he’ll never date but will sleep with.” She shrugs casually.
“No can do, but you are friends with this little boy I'm sure I'll see you again.” Silas gave her a once over after declining her request.
“Yes. You. Will.” Sam flirted with him dragging her words as she walked backwards away from him.
“I'm not a boy.” I said loud enough for him to hear my aggravation.
“Yeah Okay…” He brushed me off and that pissed me off.
“You kissed that ‘little boy’ one minute ago.” JJ smirks.
“Did I?” Silas cuts his eyes at me smirking. “Nah that’ll be gay.” He shakes his head turning away from me. I walked up on him and punched him in his shoulder. I hear him call me that all the time but today it hurt my feelings. This is the nice/mean stuff I was talking about. I’ve been an emotional wreck ever since I became a “woman”, and I don’t like it.
“Stop! Stop calling me a boy.” I pointed my finger at him and poked him in the nose.

Silas slapped Shays’ hand out of his face. Shay then started to swing her fist towards him. He wrapped his arms around Shay causing them to fall backwards. Silas then grabs her arms and pinned her down to the ground; sitting on her legs so she couldn't kick him.
“Get off of me.” She spoke through gritted teeth as she struggled underneath him.
“Not until you learn to keep your hands to yourself.”
“If you'd stop calling me a boy you wouldn't get hit.” She fought a little more still not getting free. “Let me go!!” Shay yelled at him getting silence in return. “Silas. Get! Off! Of. Me!”
“Tina! Silas & Shay are fighting again!” Chrissy shouted. Silas stood up, letting Shay go as Tina called for both of them to come into the house. Because their fights are recurring, Tina makes them sit on the couch and fix whatever it is they're fighting about before the night is over. She doesn't yell at them about it anymore.
“Shay, your pajamas are in my top drawer.” Tina says.
“You said you weren't staying.” Silas cut his eyes at Shay.
“Guess the plans changed.” Shay shrugged.
“Lucky me, a free maid” He says sarcastically.
“Can I sit in your room with you?” Shay pleads with Tina.
“No, you’re sitting on that couch until you two are done arguing.” Tina instructed. An annoyed Silas sat on the couch with Shay and watched tv. They sat in silence for thirty minutes until Silas stretched out on the couch laying his head on Shay’s lap.
“I'm sorry for calling you ugly and a little boy.” Silas finally spoke.
“I'm sorry for hitting you, more than once.” Shay returned with an apology of her own.
“Cool, you gonna make my sandwich now?” he asked.
“No”
“Why you gotta be so annoying?” Silas turned his head to look up at her after she refused.
“Why do you act like a little baby?”
“You are the worst wife in the world.” He feigned hurt.
“Shut up.” She laughed at his bad acting.
“Massage my head, please.” He lifted his hand and scratched his head expecting her to follow suit.
“Why would I do that?”
“Because I said please.”
“So?”
“And I will share my room with you, so you don’t have to sleep on the couch all the time.”
“And?” She kept pushing to see if he offered anything new.
“And I’m gonna bite your thigh if you don’t rub my scalp.”
“So, hostile.” Shay blushed a little and tried her best to hide it.
“Let me ask you something.” His voice turned serious.
“Shoot.” Shay looked him in his eyes, concerned.
“When you were with Cam, did you do anything that he said you did?” Shay thought quickly about how she has bad taste in boys.
“What did he say I did?” Shay asked, a little scared of his answer, Cam was a liar like Aaron.
“Don’t flip, I’m just asking.” She looks down at him, knowing that usually means he’s going to say something bad.
“Okay, tell me.”
“You let him put his hands up your skirt and touch you?” Silas scanned her face waiting for a reaction.
“No one has ever put their hands up my skirt and the only time he would touch my butt is when I had pants on, and he’d hug me.” She answered honestly.
“Y’all tongue kissed at his house, and I mean ‘touch’ your pus-?”
“One!” Shay cut him off. “I’ve never been to his house. Two, I was never alone with him. And three, we only kissed one time and that was a peck on the lips that's all.” She begins to get offended.
“Okay, Good.” Silas turned his head to face the tv.
“What about you and Misty?” Shay asked.
“Who told you about her?” Silas head snapped back to its original place to look up at shay.
“She told everybody you were her boyfriend yesterday in gym class.” Shay shrugged like it was no big deal.
“Not my girl and we ain’t do anything, not yet anyway.” Silas said with a teasing smile causing Shay to mush him in the head.
“Eww, shut up.”
“Don’t worry, she won’t take your place. Now do your wifely duties and do that scratchy thing you do in my hair.” Silas stated as he turned his attention back to the television.
“You’re annoying, and I’m not your wife.”
“I didn’t sign any divorce papers. I own you, Shay Brooks.”
“Ugh!” Shay grunted. Silas laughed at her frustrations while Shay combed her fingers through his hair, rubbing his head and watching ‘The Fog’. Silas asked her about her cycle and if that’s the real reason she’s being sensitive. He wanted to know if it’s true that girls turn evil when they have it. Not long after, Silas was sound asleep in her lap. Shay, still rubbing her fingers through his hair; admired the details of his face. Noticing the teeny bit of facial hair, he had grown in and the muscles that started to shape his arm.
“Big Baby” She whispered.
“I can hear you.” Silas whispers back.
“Then get off of me.” Shay whispers as Tiana walks in the house through the back door.
“We’re going to watch a movie in the shed, want to join?” Tiana asks them.
“No.” Silas answers while his eyes remain closed.
“Shay?” Tiana rolls her eyes at him even though he isn’t looking.
“No.” Silas answers for Shay.
“What would Misty think?” Shay mocks.
“Doesn’t matter, she’s not my girlfriend.” Silas opens his eye.
“Neither am I.” Shay says as she nudges him off her lap.
“Come on love birds, I want to see Mr. Tate.” Tiana smirks as she walks out the back door. Ten minutes later they were in the shed watching ‘love jones.’ Shay and Silas sat sideways on the couch, with his back against the arm of the chair and his legs stretched out. Shay sat between his legs with her back to his chest while he drew circles on her stomach under the blanket with his fingertips. Sion sat in a similar way with Tiana on the floor, JJ and Chrissy sat in chairs and Sin sat on the floor with his current girlfriend, Rachel.
“He’s toxic.” Tiana laughs at the movie.
“A toxic stalker.” Shay adds. She lays her head back on Silas getting comfortable. The tingling sensation they’re both feeling from his fingers on her stomach relaxes her. When the intimate scene comes on, Silas pulls Shay closer to him and whispers in her ear.
“Can I try something?” She nods her head at him. “Tell me how you feel, okay?” She nods again right before he kisses the back of her neck making her gasp.
“Getting excited Shay?” Sin says in a teasing tone.
“Shut up!” She rolls her eyes at him. He focuses on the movie and his date as Silas starts gliding his hands towards Shays’ chest. Kissing her neck again, he can feel her body reacting to his touch. Shay pulls the blanket up to her neck as Silas rubs her n*****s through her bra. They become hard as rock and Shay squeezes her legs closed when she gets aroused. Silas felt her breathing pick up and heard a faint moan come from her lips.
“I’ll stop.” He whispered before kissing her neck one last time and returning to rubbing her stomach. Shay let’s out a deep breath in response.
