Edward chuckled in response, remarking, "We've got solid evidence now. Do you want to keep denying that you did this?"
Celia lowered her head and began sending a series of messages. She then calmly explained, "If I had wanted to get those drugs, I wouldn't have traded them for something that would make my grandmother allergic. How will I be able to obtain more of these pills if something truly terrible occurs to her?
A heavy silence filled the room. Julia suggested, "Perhaps it was just a mistake?"
Celia smiled and responded, "Would a doctor like me make a mistake in a situation like this?"
Julia pursed her lips and uttered a doubtful hum, saying, "Who knows?"
