“Your wife has a respiratory infection, which led to a high fever. All her results aren’t out yet, so she has to stay overnight for observation.” The doctor was telling Samuel about Andrea’s condition.
“Doctor, can I see her?” Samuel asked in a low tone.
“Not yet, I’ll get back to you” Doctor replied while walking back into Andrea’s room.
Andrea is fully awake. The doctor immediately checks her vital signs and explains her condition.
Suddenly Andrea saw the nurse walk in with her complete result. The nurse moved close to the doctor and whispered in his ears “She is pregnant”.
Andrea pretended like she did not overhear the conversation between the doctor and nurse. The doctor turned towards Andrea's direction, with a smile on his face, and said,“You are pregnant, your baby is healthy. Your husband will be so excited about this news.” The doctor was about to walk out of the room, then Andrea Jacked up from her bed not minding her IV fluid drip on her hand.
“Doctor please, I want to tell you something important,” Andrea said. The doctor looked worried and helped her back to her bed. “I've known since that I’m pregnant but I don’t want my husband to find out,” Andrea said as she was pleading with her doctor.
At this point, the doctor gave Andrea a confused stare. “Why exactly madam? A child is good news”. the doctor said.
Tears in Andrea’s eyes, as she told the doctor a few things she’s been through with her husband. The doctor was a gentleman he reached for his pocket and gave her his handkerchief to wipe her tears. He decided not to say a word.
Samuel is finally allowed to see his wife.
“This is all your fault, you locked me up like an animal to rot away. why the hell are you here, get out!”Andrea cried out furiously.
“I’m not here to fight, get well soon” Samuel said as he left the hospital and never returned. He left his security team in charge of Andrea’s care.
Samuel is an ambitious young man. He went back to the business that pays him.
Andrea is discharged from the hospital because she is feeling much better. Samuel is nowhere to be found, she is completely alone.
Andrea relieved the cooks in the house so that she could prepare all the meals by herself. She felt so useless doing nothing in the house.
It’s evening, and Samuel is back from work. Andrea sees him from the kitchen and comes closer to him.
“Welcome back, hope you had a great day at work.” Andrea tried to have a conversation with Samuel.
“No need to act like you care. Are you the one
cooking?” Samuel asked as he shook his head and walked into the kitchen. There were different delicacies on the table, and the aroma of the food made him dip his hand into one of the dishes as he tried it. He licked his fingertips.
“I’m so hungry, dish my food”.Samuel said while licking his lips.
Andrea was a great cook, Her mom taught her well. The food was so delicious.
“I’m tired of staying at home, I want to work,” Andrea said, interrupting Samuel’s meal. He dropped his fork and raised his head to face Andrea.
“Was that why you cooked these delicious meals? So you can bribe me.” Samuel questioned her. “Maybe” Andrea replied, looking away.
Andrea studied accountancy, she is really good with finances. Samuel decided to hire her to work for him in the finance department.
Work started for Andrea, she followed her husband to the office every day. The workers in the company gave her respect as their boss's wife.
It’s nighttime and the weather is cool. Andrea stood naked in front of the mirror trying to get dressed for bed. Samuel walks in on her.
He used his eyes to look at every inch of her body, He stared at Andrea’s body like an art gallery. “Your body drives me crazy” he whispered in her right ear, then smacked her butt while pulling her hair.
“I’m not in the mood Samuel, I just want to sleep”. Andrea said, with her face looking disgusted.
“When are you ever in the mood, you're my property. I do with you whatever I please.” Samuel said as he carried her naked and tossed her on the bed.
Andrea tried to resist him, but he had his way with her. He forced his manhood inside her mouth and private part. Andrea ran into the bathroom and vomited.
Andrea sat on the bathroom floor, as the hot shower flowed down on her face and body. She cried throughout her shower.
It’s the next day, Samuel and Andrea are in the office working together.
“You're going to pretend like you did not r**e me yesterday.” Andrea busted into tears uncontrollably.
“r**e is a serious accusation. We did what husband and wife should do.”Samuel said very angrily.
Samuel stood up to close the blinds in his office.
“Can you be professional for once in your life, what will your subordinates say when they see you crying like this?” Samuel said.
Andrea couldn’t stay in that environment anymore, so she left the premises. Andrea wasn’t one to think of terminating her pregnancy, but the situation was too overwhelming for her.
“I can’t have a baby with this devil” Andrea was talking to herself walking fast on the road, as the breeze was blowing her hair. Out of nowhere a car almost knocked her over.
“Are you okay madam?” the owner of the car said, she came down to check up on Andrea
“I’m fine thank you” Andrea responded, breathing heavily as she put her hand on her chest. Andrea went ahead to sit on a bench across the road and then dialed her sister’s number.
“Irina I don’t want this baby anymore, I want to divorce this man.” Andrea was crying on the phone while talking to her sister, catarrh rolled out from her nostrils.
Irina is a strong-willed person, she is quite the opposite of her sister Andrea. Irina makes decisions for herself. Mrs.Maria gave up on Irina a long time ago, because she wasn’t able to control her. Although Irina loved her mom, she still set boundaries.
“Calm down sister, don’t do what you might regret later. No matter what, that baby isn’t to blame for the father’s wickedness.” Irina said on the phone.
After a long heartfelt conversation between the two sisters. Andrea drew strength from her sister's words.
Andrea arrived home, she met her mom sitting down on the couch. She was munching some snacks and watching television.
“Mom, what are you doing here? You didn’t tell me you were coming to visit.” Andrea said, with a surprised face.
“Can’t I come to visit my baby girl again” Mrs.Maria replied, while hugging Andrea tightly and kissing her cheeks.
Mrs.Maria was worried about her daughter when Samuel called her and complained that Andrea was being very aggressive towards him. Also, Andrea refused to perform her Marital duties.
“Mom, I know that coward called my husband, has fed you with a lot of lies,” Andrea said. She knew Samuel had something to do with her mom’s sudden visit.
“Why aren’t you having s*x with your husband? Do you want another woman to satisfy him? Mrs.Maria asked her daughter.
“Mom what the f**k! Marriage isn’t all about s*x. Your Son-in-law treats me like an animal, I had a miscarriage, Mom.” Andrea said she pretended to be sad.
Mrs.Maria was cold. Words failed her trying to comfort her daughter. She held her daughter so tight and patted her back.
“Does your husband know this”?Mrs.Maria asked Andrea. “No Mom. He doesn’t even know I was pregnant”. Andrea replied
“Your husband is a good man dear, you just have to be patient with him. Do as he instructs you.”
Mrs.Maria would always support Samuel, She always believed him over her own daughter. Andrea was used to her mom’s partial behavior, She angrily walked out on her mom.
Mrs.Maria left the house because Andrea refused to speak to her again.
It’s midnight, and a lot of noise is happening downstairs. Andrea and Samuel are fast asleep upstairs. Andrea is a deep sleeper, but Samuel on the other hand is a light sleeper.
Samuel opened his eyes, the noise woke him up.
He went downstairs, rubbing his hands on his eyes.
Suddenly, a dark shadow passed behind him which he did not see
Samuel went ahead to switch on the light, but someone in a black hoodie hit his head from behind.
Blood was everywhere on the floor. Samuel is a strong man, he did not faint. Rather, he started fighting with the person in black. The person’s face was covered.
Samuel used his elbow to hit the person’s head, then the person fell to the ground. Immediately, the person pulled out a gun from the back pocket.
The security team heard noises and ran towards where the noise was coming from.
Andrea woke up and noticed her husband was not on the bed. She immediately ran downstairs, when she heard screams.
Samuel was struggling with the gun in the person’s hand and the gun went off by accident.
