Chapter3

Blood was flowing from under the kitchen door to the sitting room’s floor. Andrea with tears in her eyes, covered her mouth with her hands. She tiptoed across the blood, heading to the kitchen door. Suddenly, someone in black pushed her down and ran out of the door.

Andrea stood up and went to find her husband. She saw him lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his hand, he had lost a lot of blood. Andrea went to meet him, she knelt down quickly to stop the bleeding.

Thankfully, Samuel was still alive. Andrea used her shirt to wrap his injured hand.

The security team did not back down as they chased the person in black. At a point, they lost the person.

“You guys are so useless! How can an i***t come into my highly secured home and attack me.” Samuel yelled at his security team. They were all quiet and stood still before him as he spoke to them in anger.

Andrea helped Samuel upstairs. The family doctor had arrived to treat his gunshot wound.

“He needs bed rest, he has lost a lot of blood. Here are the antibiotics, make sure he takes them.” The doctor instructed Andrea concerning Samuel's health.

Samuel’s clothes were still drenched in blood, Andrea helped him to pull off his clothes. He was completely naked, as she took him to the bathtub.

Eventually, she helped him scrub his body and the blood gently came off.

“You’re utterly quiet, do you have any idea of who would want to hurt you?”Andrea was asking Samuel, as she was washing off the blood on his head.

“I really can’t think right now, I just want to go to bed,'' Samuel replied, he stood up from the bathtub and left the bathroom.

It’s morning, Andrea wakes up and looks for Samuel around the house. He was nowhere to be found, she became so furious because Samuel was meant to be on bed rest. So, She immediately called the office to confirm if he was there.

The office confirmed that Samuel did not come to work this morning, and she became very worried. But, Andrea had to prepare and go to the office.

Samuel Reyes is on a quest to find the person who attacked him in his home. He isn’t one to let anything slide, so he took all the CCTV footage from last night in his house. Samuel gave it to a professional detective, who will review the footage.

A couple of hours passed. After thoroughly checking the footage, they found a lead for Samuel.

“Sir, we got something for you.” The detectives said.

Immediately, Samuel rushed to the screen to see what they wanted to show him.

“It’s a woman that attacked you. According to this footage, look carefully and see the strands of her brown hair. Her hair came out of the black hoodie.” The detectives were explaining the footage to Samuel.

Suddenly he ran out of the building quickly.

Samuel went to his favorite coffee spot. He used to go there with his ex-fiancé, Sofia.

Everyone was staring at Samuel when he entered. He sat down, observing everyone.The waiter brought him his regular coffee to his table.

Meanwhile, Samuel’s security was also outside observing the environment.

Suddenly, a woman walked into the coffee shop to buy a cup of coffee. That was when Samuel realized, it was Sofia that entered the shop.

Samuel, immediately signaled his security team to grab the woman wearing black leaving the coffee shop.

They grabbed Sofia immediately. “Let me go! Who the hell are you guys?” Sofia was screaming loudly. So, The security men had to cover her mouth with their hands and put her inside a black SUV.

They drove Sofia to one of Samuel's houses in the area. “Can you guys tell me where you're taking me to and who sent you?” Sofia was asking so many questions in the car because she was feeling distressed. No one responded to her.

They arrive at Samuel’s other house.

Samuel is eagerly waiting for Sofia, holding a cup of whiskey in his hand. He began to pace about in the room.

“Welcome my Queen,” Samuel said as soon as Sofia entered the room, He dropped his whiskey on the table.

Immediately Sofia saw him, she lost her breath uncontrollably. She put her hand on her chest, her eyes wide with shock as if she just saw a ghost.

Sofia had a panic attack, they hurried to get her water.

“Relax my love, take a deep breath,” Samuel said to Sofia calmly as he came closer, and raised her hair with his hand a bit. He saw a huge bruise on her forehead.

Samuel had flashbacks, recalling how he used his elbow to hit the person’s head. That was when he confirmed his suspicions, He knew it was Sofia that attacked him.

“Why the f**k did you attack me in my home, You almost killed me” Samuel was shouting at Sofia in anger, as he threw the glass cup on the wall.

Sofia was trembling, with tears streaming down her face. She covered her ears tightly with her hands.“Please calm down, I don’t know what you’re talking about”, Sofia begged.

“Oh wow! Can you explain to me, Where you got that big bruise on your forehead? I remember hitting the same person that attacked me on the forehead”. Samuel said, as he pulled her closer and held her neck.

Sofia broke down in tears, She finally admitted to attacking him yesterday. “I wasn’t targeting you, You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I wanted to kill my stupid b***h of a sister, for stealing the love of my life.” Sofia said.

“No one can steal me, I made this decision to marry your sister with my full chest,” Samuel replied to her.

Sofia held Samuel’s chin and looked into his eyes. She went down on her knees, opened his trousers, and started giving him head. It was so good that he rolled his eyes to the back.

Intense kissing started between them, and Sofia bites Samuel’s lips. He undresses her and grabs her boobs. They started having s*x on the floor, Sofia was moaning so loudly. He had to cover her mouth gently.

The security team downstairs heard her moaning. They looked at each other and knew what was going on upstairs.

“I know you’ve missed me because I know how to treat you well. Let me see your hand my love” Sofia said. She touched Samuel's hand, where he had the gunshot wound.

Sofia tried to explain herself again. Before she could finish, Samuel interrupted her and told her it was all in the past. He made it clear to her that he had forgiven her. They spent almost the whole day together, talking and chatting about different things.

Sofia and Samuel have a very strange relationship, they solve almost all their problems and differences with s*x.

They both got dressed and departed with a kiss on the lips.

It’s already late at night. Heavy rain started to pour down, Samuel just arrived at his house. He asked his workers about his wife, they told him she was fast asleep.

Samuel did not go to work today so he stayed up all night working on his system.

“When did you arrive?”Andrea said, rubbing her hands on her eyes. She walked down the stairs gently.

“I arrived while you were sleeping, so I didn’t want to wake you up,” Samuel replied, as he closed his laptop.

“I looked for you all day, calling your phone, but it went straight to voicemail. You did not follow the doctor's instructions about your health. Where the hell did you go?” Andrea kept asking him questions because she was really upset.

“Woman! Calm down,you have no right to question me in my home. Don’t forget that I’m the man of this house and you just ruined my work. I'm going to bed, goodnight.” Samuel raised his voice at Andrea and climbed upstairs.

Tears were in Andrea’s eyes, she wondered why her husband hated her so much. Andrea did not love Samuel. But, she was trying to make things work between them since they were living together.

It’s morning, and Samuel and Andrea left for work together. There was total silence in the car on their ride to the office.

Immediately Samuel entered the building he was bombarded with calls, meetings, and documents to be signed. Because he missed work yesterday.

Samuel entered his office and closed the door to catch his breath. He was murmuring to himself. Suddenly, a hand touched him on his chest from behind then he turned and saw it was Sofia.

“Sofia what are you doing here?”Samuel asked, giving her a surprised look.

Ignoring his question, She used his tie to pull him closer to her and started kissing him passionately. Suddenly, someone opened the door.
