the Arrivals

It has been a week since little Jaroar was born. The pack is settling down again, since the attack. We were able to secure all of the Alphas in an alliance and Ravana did too. He’s started acting with pride and honor since. He should also be expecting a little one soon, Sally made sure to give the alexures that’d help. I’m happy for him honestly, he deserved a family and I hope he gets it.

Ernir’s pack should also be arriving today, at least some of them. He told me to wait on sending the witches until we could go with the, otherwise the pack would freak out. So in the meantime he’s been building more houses and things the need or find sacred. “Hey lilti ulfur, are you ready? Four of the arrivals will be going with Mikkel, like I promised.” I didn’t realize Ernir snuck up on me, until I felt his arms go around me. He knew I’ve been stressed trying to arrange things, so he took up half of it and did his part. “Yes, I’m nervous. I hope they’ll like me.” I poke honest. These people didn’t know me, and are forced to move continets for me. 

“They’ll love you Willona. Trust me. My people and now your people are amazing. We are a bit old style, but I’m sure it’ll be perfectly fine.” He rested his chin on top of my head when he finished talking. This man knew the right words to make all my doubt and worry just melt away. I’m now excited to see my people now, and for them to meet me and the rest of their pack. “ wait, will we have to change the name of the packs?” I didn’t think of it until now. How will we decide the name? I began to panic all over again. Ernir seemed to feel this and cuddled me in his arms, instantly calming me down. 

“We will discuss this after the ceremony. It’s a month away so we have plenty of time. Just breath and get ready. They're here.” He spoke with a voice full of certainty. I knew we’d find the perfect name. I fixed my ponytail and smoothed out my suit as I headed downstairs. Already being able to sense them, I knew they’d be arriving in less than a minute. In the first car is two males and two females, all four seemed higher ranked. The second car had a male and female and three children ranging from twelve to four. The third had two sets of elderly couples. Ernir is already hugging the two males from the first car and hugging the women from the second car. 

“This is my sister Annalise and her mate Erik. This William, he’s twelve, then we have little Ane her, she’s six, finally we have Lynn, she’s four.” He introduced those from the second car. Annalise quickly embraced me in a hug following her children. Her mate simply shook my hand. Annalise resembled Ernir a lot with their hair and their piercing emerald eyes. “These two would be my cousins, they’ll be going with Mikkel. This is Stephen and his mate Lillian, his older brother was my beta. This here is Khal and Megan, Khals older sister was my gamma.” They each gave me a hug and warm smile. They will be perfect Beta and Gamma. I nodded my approval of them. “Finally we have my grandparents Francise and Alfred. Their my mother's parents. Here we have Eriks mom and dad, Elenor and Charles.” All four greeted me with a big hug. 

“It is very nice to meet all of you. I hope you have a wonderful life her and for the ones who aren’t staying, I hope that you have a wonderful stay. My brother Ravana is still here, I’d love for you all to meet him. Also Alpha Mikkel will be at a private dinner with us to discuss your transfer over. Feel free to roam around and go into town. Your rooms are also being prepared and if you wish to live outside of the pack house, we will start production on a house for you.” I spoke out clearly and strongly. Ernir’s sister smiled at him with approval, as did his grandparents. The others nodded with respect and awe. I do hope that they like it here, this is their new home.

Ernir walked them into the house to their rooms. I decided to get something from my office and heard over towards Arabella’s house. I got there in no time at all, hearing the soft snores of my sweet nephew. I didn’t bother to knock since I knew she could sense me here, and went straight to the kitchen where I followed her scent. “Hey hun, so here’s the plan. I don’t know how to do it without him knowing.” I spoke as I layed out the papers. I’ve come up with plans of a new construction, but Ernir is on the construction part of the pack. She looked them over and began to smile at me, she knew of my plans and is happy about them. 

“How do you plan to do this without him knowing of anything. I love the details, and for the window I’d put your wolves, and when you have children get them added or put them on the surrounding windows. We could get Alexi in on this, he could say he needs help fixing up this place.” Her idea about the window is amazing, and I love it. If I did get Alexi too help, then it would work well. The house I’m building will be on the north side of the property, while Arabella’s and the packhouse is on the southern side. “I could get Annalise to help with putting their Icelandic heritage in it. I know that it’s very important to him to keep their traditions flowing, I may incorporate it with the whole pack.” She quickly nodded in agreement. When I leave here I’m going to go and speak with Annalise about helping me, and Arabella will peak with Alexi about keeping him busy. 

“Hey can I hold Jaroar, he’s awake now.” I asked excitedly. I haven’t gotten to hold him in a week and I really wanted to again. She simply smiled, and walked off to go get him. Arabella appeared a couple moment later with the precious boy. When she handed him to me, I felt everything float away. This little boy will do great things on day, I already know that. As if on command a breeze blew through, making the chair rock in a soothing manner. “Just barely a week old, and can already use his gift.” Arabella mumbled proudly. My mother hadn’t told her how quickly he’d learn or be able to use them. Surprisingly he’s picked it up fairly easily unless, “The elements could actually be taking care of him. He may not be the one doing this, but instead their doing it to comfort him. I mean the chair began to rock when he was about to fuss, and now he’s back asleep.” When I told her this, a look of wonder crossed her face. I will talk to Sally and Esmeralda about this later. 

“Ahh we knew you’d be here. How’s my beautiful son doing.” Alexi came through the door with Ernir hot on his heels. I through a panicked glance to Arabella, hoping she’d understand. I left all of the blue prints on the kitchen table, and I didn’t want Ernir to see them. Nodding to me, “Hey Alexi, come with me to make tea please. Ernir and Willona can watch the baby.” Nodding he went with her as Ernir came to squat beside my chair He had this loving look on his face, and I knew he wanted children. I wasn’t ready quite yet, but we would have a few of our own. I passed him Jaroar, and he held him so tenderly, like he is a porcelain doll that'd easily break. 

I will help keep him busy. I want to expand the house and remodel the kitchen. The plans look great, and he is going to love it. You did a great job, I’m proud to have you as my alpha. Alexi poke through the link, when they came back in the room. I’m guessing she told him through their link. Thanks Alexi, I’m going to speak to his sister and have her help me on adding a touch of their heritage. The building will start tomorrow, and should be done by next month. He only smiled in return and handed me my cup of tea. Jaroar began to cry, so Ernir and I took that as our cue to leave. 

“So my sister would like to help you cook so yall can get to know each other. I’m also going to be helping Alexi with their house, I hope you don’t mind.” Of course I didn’t mind, but I’m going to need to keep my block up so he doesn’t know. I must have been thinking a lot, because we made it home and I hadn’t realized. “I’m going to head to the kitchen with Annalise, go calm down my love.” I kissed him on the cheek and walked away. My cheeks turned red, that’s the first time I’ve done that. We’ve cuddled but now our relationship I progressing. 

“Hey can I talk to you about something. I want it kept between me and you.” I waited till she nodded before I continue. “Okay, so I want to build Ernir and I a home. I would like if you could help me add in things that he would like. Also I have a stained glass window I plan to have made if you would like to help.” Once I got finished, she is full on grinning at me. She whipped her hands of whatever she is cutting and hugged me. “I’m so happy that you're my brothers mate, your already doing everything you can to keep him happy. Thank you, and yes I’ll help you with anything you need. When are we starting?” She began to ramble, so I started cooking. I’m happy she likes me and accepts me as her brothers mate. 

“Do you want to go round everyone up while I set the table?” I questioned Annalise. I’m hoping she does, so that I have a little time to think. As if she knew this, she nodded and went to find everyone. I headed to the dining room, to set the table. The only ones that’ll be here is Ernir, me,Annalise, Erik, Arabella, Alexi, Dex, Violet, Stephen, Lillian, Khal, Megan, Mikkel, and Andrea. This will be the official meeting/dinner for Mikkels pack. We’re also sealing a lifetime pact between our packs. “Your stressed, talk to me lilti ulfur.” I jumped at Ernir’s voice. He began to rub my shoulders instantly calming me. “I’m okay, I just have a surprise for you. That’s allI’m saying so don’t even try.” I giggled when he gave me a puppy face. 

“Everyone is on their way. You did a good job setting up, everything looks great.” Annalise complimented me as her and Erik came in. I moved to sit at one of the chairs at the head of the table, Ernir took the one beside me. Mikkels pack will be to the right of us, while our pack will be to the left of us. “I put a bit of work in, I wanted everything to look great. Please sit, everyone will be here soon.” I jaestered to their seats. Only a few moments passed when everyone came in. The first meal is served, I wanted to eat a little first before we discuss any business. 

“I would like to leave in the next couple of days. My pack needs their Alpha and luna, I’m sure you understand.” Mikkel is the first to speak. I figured that they would need to be heading back, they’ve been here for almost two weeks now. Nodding I took a drink of my wine, “Yes, I agree. Will you four be ready to go by then?” I turned to look at Stephen, Lillian, Khal, and Megan. I don’t want to rush them if their not ready to leave just yet, they just came here after three day at sea. “Yes we are ready. Stephan and I are used to traveling quickly due to trading and raiding.” I nodded in reply. I’m glad their stepping up like this, it makes me and Ernir proud. 

“Then it’s agreed. You’ll be leaving the day after tomorrow. I’ll have a few of the witches teleport you. It should make the trip a lot quicker.” When I finished, I noticed everyone thats new seemed to start choking. I wonder what I said to make them act like this. Ernir caught on to what I am confused about, “They didn’t know that we have witches in the pack. Where my pack used to be, the witches always hated us, and we were at war. Speaking of which, I may give them the lands as a peace treaty. We could tell them about you, I bet they’d want to meet you.” He started getting excited and rambling making me giggle. This made him immediately stop and blush. 

“I think that will be an amazing idea. We could even work with them. Also yes everyone, I have a whole village of witches in my pack. I know what your thinking ‘how is that even possible’ well you may or may not know that my mother is the moon goddess. It runs in our blood, same with Alpha Valencias and my beta female Violet. Once Ernir, Annalise, Erik and their children join tomorrow night, they will be able to communicate with them as well. It works just like pack links work.” They all looked at me in awe. I take that as Ernir didn’t tell them about any of this. I noticed him trying to hide a smile when I mentioned him joining the pack. 

“I can’t believe Ernir didn’t tell us. It makes sense now, I felt more than just you being my female alpha. Would explain the extra scents too, they smell very different from the ones back home. Willona may I talk to you later about this.” Annalise turned serious with her last sentence. I nodded, wanting to know why they smelled different and why they were at war. The rest of the dinner went smoothly with everyone joking. Mikkel, Stephen, and Khal hit it off really well, as if they were long lost brothers. Andrea didn’t talk very much, but seemed to rub her belly all throughout the dinner. “Are you expecting?” I whispered to her gently. She jumped, must be out of it today.

“Yes, I’m worried Mikkel will be angry. This is too sudden and he has so much to do when we get home. I feel he’s going to turn us away.” She is genuinely worried. I could never see the new Mikkel acting in such a way, the old him maybe, but definitely not him now. “Andrea hunny, he would never do such a thing. Now is a perfect time for a little one. Your at peace and everything is moving in a great direction. Tell him when your ready, you’ve got this.” I held her hand to show her how serious I am. I know I should probably hate her for the mate thing, but I couldn’t bring myself to. I have Ernir now and everything is happy and joyus. “I think I will now. Thank you.” I gave her a smile.

“Can I have everyone's attention please.” She paused to look back at me. I gave her a thumbs and nodded for her to continue. “I have great news to share with everyone. Mikkel and I are expecting our first child. I spoke to a nurse yesterday and I am about three weeks along.” Mikkel jumped out of his seat and began to shower her and her belly with kisses. I knew he would be happy, being a parent is one of the wolves main goals. I’m happy for both of them, they will be absolutely amazing parents. I caught sight of Ernir he displayed a smile, but his eyes read sadness.

What’s wrong my love? I asked through the link. Seeing him like this upset me greatly. I had a feeling it has something to do with children. Nothing lilti ulfur He abruptly closed off the link after that. I don’t like that he’s lying to me, but I already know what it’s about. He left it open long enough for me to see an image of him cuddling a very pregnant me. “I’m going to talk with your sister, I’ll meet you in our room afterwards.” He only nodded. I kissed his cheek and motioned for Annalise to follow me. I hope he won’t be so closed off the rest of the night, I don’t like to see him like that. 

“Okay so what do you think.” I asked immediately getting to the point once we entered my office. I had it moved downstairs when I met up with Arabella, because I didn’t want Ernir to see the blue prints. “Well it’s strange really. Here it feels peaceful and I’m at ease. When around the witches at home it feels darker and more sinister. Like they practice a darker magick.” I kept getting this feeling of dread the whole time she explained her thoughts. I knew she is telling the truth, I can feel it. I sadly don’t know if there is darker magic, but I do know who does. Picking up my phone I dialed their number, “Hey, I need you, Sally, and Esmeralda here in my office very quickly please.” Not long after I hug up, they appeared with Kasey.

“Good your all here, we may have a bad problem.” I let Annalise explain the whole story, and how they would make her feel. By the looks on their faces, it’s possible and will cause a big problem with us. “Willona, we will be at war. These witches don’t follow the rules your mother set, it’s more than likely why they went to a secluded part of Iceland. We can fight this, but it may cost us. Try to reach out to your mother, we will need her help.” I didn’t want to go to war with them, but I still have pack members over there. I need to think of safe ways of removing all of them without drawing their attention. Maybe I could arrange a meeting with them.

We continued on with the little meeting for about another hour and a half. We decided to start moving everything tomorrow before the ceremony. Once we have everyone here, a meeting will be made to discuss everything. If they choose to come after us or hurt any member, then we will declare war. Every witch and wolf the age of fifteen and up will begin training incase there is a war. “Okay everyone go get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a very busy day for everyone. I’ll notify everyone in the morning at eight sharp. Be rested and ready.” A series of goodnights went around as everyone left. It is only nine pm, so I decided to file some paperwork and arrange things for tomorrow. I wanted everything perfect.

Another hour later I managed to arrange four groups to head with me and Ernir to bring over the pack. Then another five groups will work here to get everything set for the joining ceremony and the new homes. Happy with everything I decided to head up towards my room, well I should say Ernir and I’s room. Strangely enough, I couldn’t smell him in there, or even around here. I wonder where he is at this time of night. I decided to not worry about it, he’s probably out for a run or to think. 

I headed straight for the shower, I needed a hot one to help ease the stress I have. I didn’t worry with getting clothes since Ernir probably won’t be back anytime soon. Deciding to stay in there until the water turned cold may have not been the best idea, but I do feel more relaxed. Wrapping a towel around me, I headed back into the bedroom to the closet. I started looking for something comfortable to slip on, when the door creaked open. I knew it was Ernir, so I didn’t bother to turn around and just looking for something to wear. 

His lips suddenly on my shoulder, caused me to jump. Stupidly when I did, my hand let go of the towel, letting it drop to the floor. He growled making everything in me come alive. Slowly turning around in his arms, I looked up into his eyes. They are two dark pools of lust, which fed perfectly into mine. I allowed my eyes to roam over his body realizing he is only in a pair of basketball shorts. Looking back to his eyes, I can see he’s taking in my body as well causing his eyes to darken even more. “I need to leave before I do something.” He spoke in a voice so deep, it made me come undone. I knew his wolf is close to the surface, and if he didn’t leave now then we’d mate. 

“Who said I didn’t want anything to happen?” Volva’s voice mixed with mine as we spoke. The rest of the night we spent entangled in eachothers arms.
