“Boss, they are getting impatient,” Vico said to me entering the room.
“It’s barely 8am vico, can you rest? I told them I need time, if they need something specific they should be willing to wait” I replied sipping my coffee.
The content burns my throat as it slides down, it’s exactly what I need. I’ve barely risen and it already f*****g hectic.
Vico nodded, understanding my frustration, “okay boss, I’ll handle it”
As he left, a woman emerged from the kitchen, carrying a plate of breakfast. "Good morning," she said with a smile dropping a plate of half-fried eggs and sausage on the table.
I know who she is, I picked her last night at the club, but what the f**k is she still doing here.
I acknowledged her greeting,i didn't remember her staying over. Vico returned, and I gestured to the woman. "Time for her to go," I said.
Vico escorted her out, and I turned my attention to the day's tasks.
He returns and goes to my room and gathers her stuff and goes out again,banging the door.
“What’s the problem with sluts and being delusional, you sleep with them one night and they think they’ve got a place in your heart, Damn” he said partly to himself and partly to me.
I don’t respond. “Get rid of this and meet me outside” I said instead referring to the runny egg.
We head to the club, hopefully today will be better. It’s been weeks since the notice for waitress was put up, and the girls coming to apply ain’t exactly what I’m looking for.
I hate it when clients get picky even though it pays more, but it’s a lot of work. Where the hell do I find a girl who looks naive and pure and is actually is. I mean I’m willing to do the work but it’s proving difficult, such girls don’t exist, not in this time and day.
“Boss, it’s your kid sister” Vico hands me my ringing phone.
“What is it now?” I asked instantly.
“Jeez Mav, will u chill out. No I don’t need more money…just called to know how you’re doing and to thank you for the money” Maeve said.
“That all?”
She sighed. “Yes Mav, how’re you?”
“Look Maeve I’ve got no time for small talks, hope you’re taking your studies seriously rather than jumping from one boy to the other”
“Jesus Mav, I’m sorry I called, I should have know better, bye” she hangs up.
“You’re too hard on her boss, you should chill out sometimes, she just wanted to know how you’re doing, she’s the only family you’ve got, stop pushing her away” Vico said
I gave him a stern look, “I didn’t ask for your opinion Vico
