“What does that mean?” Dean asked somewhere between worried and pissed off.
“She told them the Alpha was going mad and losing control of his beast. She was convinced she could get the Beta to stand against you and de-thron you. She figured that if the Beta stood against you the pack would follow. When you left your Beta for dead on the field she thought he would finally turn his back on you. But even then he wouldn’t. When the Alchemist came up with the hybrid formula She said she wanted it for the Beta and herself. It was the only way he would leave you and be with her.”
Everything she was saying sounded insane but Goddess it sounded just right. Luce always told me I’d have to leave Dean. She always tried to make me go against him, and she always loved me.
