I gotta admit, it got pretty silly there for a while. I wasn’t used to drinking like that. Anyone paying attention would have known we were wasted, but we weren’t rowdy or obnoxious. Mostly just laughing. Have you ever laughed so long and so hard that your sides ached? I mean, it got painful, laughing so hard. Julie Patchouli just got more and more animated. After a while neither of us could really speak a coherent sentence, but whatever we slurred out to each other was still hilarious. We sat there having our own little party until close to 5:30, when Julie Patchouli said she needed to get rolling.
