Chapter Forty-four
Implementation
At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017, Gun-ho stood on the sail of a Seawolf class submarine with her commander, making their way out of the harbor at Sasebo. They would be in position fifteen miles off the coast of North Korea in ten hours. Gun-ho descended into the boat and made his way to his quarters as they turned northwest out of the harbor entrance. The captain of Gun-ho’s mission support team suggested that he rest for the next eight hours. The plan called for Gun-ho to be launched from the submarine under the cover of dark at 2300. That would give him seven hours to make it into position before dawn on March 6th.
Gun-ho lay down on his bunk and thought about everything that had happened over the last month. He went over the mission in his mind
