I walked into the council hall with rage, although I really wanted to remain calm in order not to provoke the elders..
“What manner of disrespect is this?”
My voice thundered across the stone walls of the Elder’s Hall, startling even the birds outside.
The thick wooden doors trembled as they shut behind me. I hadn’t bothered to knock or announce my presence.
I wanted to show a little bit of anger. I was the sovereign alpha. And they had been playing behind my back.
“How dare you arrest Selena without my consent?” I roared.
