Selena’s POV
I woke up the next morning to a strange stillness. My body felt lighter, like a great burden had lifted from me. For a moment I simply lay there, staring at the ceiling of my chamber, wondering if I had only dreamed all of yesterday.
I had a dream where I had seen myself trying to kill Karren.. It was crazy I would do that..
I rose from the bed slowly..The sunlight filtered warmly through the carved windows, and when I stepped into the living room. I found Linda and smiled when I saw her.
“ Linda, How are you?” I asked as I hugged her.“ You wouldn't believe I had the weirdest dream, I found myself firing you and of course it's not possible, because you're like a family.”
Linda smiled, and hugged me back.. My chamber was lively, all the servants were busy with their dutie
