I got up from my bed with curiosity. I thought of going to meet with Darren.
If Karren knew I had slipped out he wouldn't be pleased, if the guards saw me wandering into the woods alone… No. I didn’t want to think about it.
It's not like Karren cared or would think about it..
I scoffed..The memory of the stranger’s voice kept circling in my head..
I was really impressed with the man who had fought wolves with his bare hands..
I should have left it there. I should have let it be a passing encounter. But something in me itched to see him again.
