I made my way to Selena’s chambers.
I had expected her to be awake, preparing for training.
But when I entered..
Selena sat by the window, her eyes fixed on nothing, her posture stiff. For a moment, I wondered if she had even noticed me.
“Selena,” I said gently, the way I always did. “It is time. You need to begin training early today… I wouldn't want you going on a walk and not returning from days, you really scared the hell out of me...”
