November 18, 2018. The Sunday after the shutdown. I finally do the thing that I was supposed to do. That is... to visit her final resting place. In this cemetery, there are rows of tombstones in the midst of grassy knolls. There are also some trees strategically placed in those knolls, as if the gentle breezes that pass through them will soothe the remains of the many people who are interred here. These trees are picked for their symbolic meanings of life, death, and immortality in various world cultures.
