Chapter 7

The day turn into evening. The mansion was full of people, the band playing, people was dancing and people just having a good time. Darien made a speech, welcoming guests and other people before the band starts to play again.

Upstairs the stylist was putting the finishing touches to Angelia’s makeup. She takes a step back, handing Angelia a mirror, “I say...you truly look like a princess,” he said.

Angelia looks over at the stylist and kindly laugh, “Yea...thank you. You are amazing.” Her hair was put up into mini buns of three, link together with braids. She also had a silver head piece in her hair.

Angelia stands up and straightens her dress before she leaves her room. She heads to the ball room and stops once she reaches the top of the stairs.

Darien was talking to some people before he looks at the top of the stairs. That’s when he saw her. Lia looked like an angel while she walks down the stairs. He soon excused himself and walked over to the bottom of the stairs to wait for her.

Their eyes met, that’s took her breath away. She was very nervous but held it in like a true princess.

Darien watches her, a part of him wanted to rip the dress off of her and make love right on the stairs.

He held out his hand out once Angelia reached the last step. “You look beautiful,” he said as Angelia takes his hand. She blushes, “Thank you. You’re very handsome yourself,” says softly.

“Care for a dance?” Darien said as he wraps her arm under his.

Angelia looks over at him. “I’m not a good dancer...” Darien chuckles lightly, “Oh come on, I don’t believe that.” He leads her to the dance floor. They started to dance as people looked on. Angelia got nervous and ends up stepping on Darien’s foot. He groans as he slightly hops on one foot for a moment.

“Oh...I’m so sorry...see I can’t...” Angelia said looking at Darien as she waves her hands. Darien still groaning in pain of his foot but it fades away soon. Angelia started to move away but Darien grabs her arm.” Wait..” he said as he uses his powers to change the scene of the room.
