Mark was stunned to find his mate. Selene never said a word to him. He knew they weren’t mates, but they were very close these days. He thought she would have said something. He stared at those ice-blue eyes his mate possessed and wanted to just hold her close. She smelled heavenly. Like a peach orchard mixed with some pineapple trees. She sat on the bed staring back at him.
Mark sat on the side of the bed and introduced himself, “Hi mate. My name is Alpha Mark Robins of the Moon Touched pack.”
Tilting her head to the side, Talon giggled, “Look Amara, my mate talks. Does yours?”
Amara laughed at her sister’s words before answering, “I don’t know. He just sits there staring at me with those purple eyes like I have two heads.”
