Katia felt strange like she was floating around in a dark room with nothing to anchor her. Every once in a while, she would glimpse some sort of light, and then it was gone. She could not feel her arms, legs, or her heart beating. She just floated around in the dark. She wondered what had happened and where she was. Where was everyone else? It was neither hot nor cold, just nothing. Katia heard a voice calling out to her.
"Titi, are you here? I cannot see anything. What happened? Where is everyone? Why is it so dark?" It was her sister Selene. She sounded different, something was very wrong. Selene was here too. Did the grandfather send them here so no one could ever find them again? She could not feel Aza, her wolf. Where was she? Did they get separated somehow? Where was Lu?
