Chapter 12
As the weeks passed and nothing untoward occurred, the men settled into a comfortable routine. Since the house was a good deal larger than Philip’s had been, the men found they weren’t knocking elbows day in and day out. Philip had arranged with his supplier to have Adam’s animal blood delivered to Ellen’s place and once a week Larry ‘dropped in’ to pick it up.
Each evening after supper, Philip and Wentworth would go into the study to work on Wentworth’s biography. Sometimes Larry and Adam would join them, causing mild arguments and some hilarity as Larry would attempt to correct Wentworth’s memories of certain events.
