Chapter Three

Damien Pov:

Bored out of my mind i decided to apply as a teacher in the university of super naturals known as Eden.

Eden had been in existence long before i took over the throne as king, and that been almost a decade ago.

I am king of all supernatural being from werewolf to warlocks. Whatever has a bit of magic in it, I reign over it. But with all of this blessing I have been cursed by the gods to never have a mate.

From the moment i was born, i was supposed to find that one person who was equal to me. Who i do not have to wear a mask around, but i never did.

After a decade of waiting. I gave up.

At first it was really hard for me to accept that i have not been blessed with a mate. I envied my subjects my parents and everyone around me who had a mate. After a while, i started to enjoy the freedom. I do not have to be tied to anyone and i could do whatever i wanted. So i made up my mind that if i ever found my mate i would reject her or end her. Cause she would not be worthy of me anyway.

Now the world is changing and so was I. I wanted to find something else that i could do. I wanted to run from my responsibilities for a while,

I decided to leave Eden( the world for supes) and come to the world of humans just to explore.

This is not my first time coming to the human world but i usually came for business, but this time i have decided to know the human world on a personal level and so far most of the people are either gullible, stupid or naive.

I pulled into the schools parking lot in my SUV. I parked my car next to an expensive looking black honda. By the scent emitting i could tell it belonged to a wolf boy.

Seeing the Wolf car surprised me a little because most wolves prefer to go to their pack college. Wolves hate mixing with other packs and other people.

I went into the main building and just as expected everyone turned to stare at me. It wasn't new or surprising, especially the fact that they can't look away. I had that kind of effect on people. Let's just say i had a striking appearance.

I had gold eyes, with black hair and a sculpted muscular body. So i expect it. I paid no attention to the stares and just kept going to my direction. My phone rang and i tried taking it from my pocket, I bumped into someone in the process. "You okay".I asked her, not bothering to look at her, already ready to walk away. "Yeah am fine, but next time watch where you are going." she said. On hearing that i let out a little chuckle and turned to look at her". As i turned to look at her i froze, not only was she gorgeous but she was the one, the one i had waited a decade for. She was my mate. The wolf inside of me began to wake up again, after a long time my wolf stirred. After a decade of waiting for mate my wolf became silent. But now he was coming back after sensing his mate. I was excited, sad, anxious and nervous. So many emotions passed through my mind.

But i suppressed it. If you have lived for a long time keeping your emotions would be the least of your worries. So i suppressed all of my emotions and replied. "I should watch where am going. You were the one who bumped into me." i said pretending to be angry.

I think what i said got to her because she started in an angry voice. "Now you listen". She said raising her eyes to meet mine. Immediately our eyes met she froze and my heart skipped a bit. Damn, she was beautiful. But i knew she did not freeze because she discovered we were mates. She wouldn't know because i shielded my scent from her. I did not know how to react so i did the only thing i could think of i blocked her from my scent.

So i could only guess she froze because of my looks.

Uhm i..... she said trailed off. " Am listening". i said arching my eyebrow. What? She said, obviously not paying attention. You told me to listen i said looking at her blankly. But in my mind i wanted to pin her to a wall and taste those beautiful pink lips of hers.

She looked at me a little confused at what i said, before realization hit her and she remembered she was saying something. Ooooh, um i-i-i mean y-y-you were in m-my-my way first. She stuttered, blushing so hard, then looked down. f**k, that did things to my mind. I wanted to hear her moan my name so bad.

Before i did anything stupid right there. I decided to get the f**k out of there." Look." i said, "Next time don't stand in the way". "You might not be so lucky".I said before walking away. And i wasn't talking about her bumping into me. I knew if i saw her again i might not be able to stop myself from doing something stupid.

I had to make a quick stop at the bathroom to calm my growing hunger. Being a part of every creature both of the night and day, also means heightened s****l hormones and right now every single f*****g one of them was active and hyper.

I went to the sink and poured water on my face to clear my head and calm my nerves. I did not know how to feel about this. Should i be happy that finally the goddess saw me fit to have a mate or angry that after all this years of me mentally strengthening my mind. I get a mate out of no where.

Lost in my thoughts my phone started to ring. I look at the caller and it was the chancellor. "Speak." i said, annoyed at the intrusion. "My lord, i-i-i was just wondering where you were." He said shakily. "Is there an issue." i asked. "N-N-No. Of course not, i was only asking if you were still coming." " I would be there soon." I replied dryly before ending the call.

I took a deep breath to steady my thoughts before walking out the bathroom.
