Chapter Nine

Jasmine Pov

We got back to the pack. Entering the pack house we saw everyone decorating and excited. Confused, i turned to Julian. "Is there a celebration i don't know about." I ask him. He turned to me also looking confused. "You and me both. What in the name of the goddess is going on." He said looking more confused than me.

"Harry" i called. Harry is one of the pack warriors and my father's tightest friend. He would know what exactly is going on.

He turned to me before bowing slightly. "Harry what on earth is going on. Is there going to be a celebration." I asked. Harry looked at me like am stupid. "You mean you don't know." He asked. "Know what. " I said eyeing him. "The vampire king and the supreme king are coming tomorrow." The vampire king is to sign a treaty of peace with our alpha." He finished, bowing and going back to his work.

"Wait what!" Julian exclaimed. "How the f**k were we not informed about this before hand." Julian said obviously as pissed as i am now. "You tell me." I said before turning and storming out the door to the pack house to find my parents with Julian hot on my heels.

I burst into my Dad's office ready to release my anger but what i saw made me freeze. Aiden my older brother and future alpha to the pack was standing there.

"Okay would someone tell me what's......." Julian paused obviously as surprised as i am. "What the..." Julian paused again still in shock.

"Umm, A-A-Aiden you are back. When did you get back?" I asked still a bit shocked. "Aiden got here last night, but you too were so upset yesterday. So i decided to let you two rest. Afterall i need you two to be in a better mood when the vampire king arrives." Mom explained.

"So you guys are pushing through with this bullshit huh." Julian said still pissed off. "Language julian, you can't talk like that in front of mom and dad." Aiden said sternly, eyeing julian causing Julian to roll his eyes at him.

"Guys." Aiden turned towards us. "I don't see anything wrong with our parents decision, Infact i think they are making the right choice." Aiden said supporting our parents as usual" I scoffed. "Right choice? My god Aiden what is right about this choice of theirs. Aiden you know i hardly disagree with you on matters like this, but in this case i do not agree with you. What if after entering our pack they decide not to uphold the treaty, what happens then?" I said rhetorically. "I will tell you what happens. The vampire king gets mad and tries to s*******r everyone in the pack, maybe some of us trained warriors may put up a fight or some may escape, then what happens to the children or women. They die, that's what happens." I say before storming out of the office to my bedroom and slamming the door.

I huffed angrily when i enter my room. Goddess, i was so mad at all of them, they didn't even tell me that Aiden is coming and now they are refusing to understand why letting a freaking vampire into our home is just wrong.

I laid on my bed and closed my eyes to calm my anger. I had a very terrible temper. Whenever i get angry it gets out of control. So i try to control it.

But right now i was failing miserably.

To be honest i have always wondered why my temper was so sour. I mean i know we wolves are very hot tempered but mine seemed to be at an extreme.

After a while of trying and failing. I let out a loud growl before hurling my tv across the room and running into the bathroom.

I ran to my bathroom and quickly stripped off my clothes before running into the shower and letting the cold water run down my body. I shivered

letting out a satisfied sigh and leaning on the wall.

God i don't think i am ready to receive those vampires yet. Since i was little i hated vampires because they killed my parents and now their vile and wicked king is finally ready to sign "a treaty" after taking the lives of so many werewolves. I let out a dry chuckle before leaning my head on the wall. I feel my eyes water but i will myself to hold back my tears.

I go into my bathroom feeling exhausted. I enter my bathtub and filled it with warm water before immersing my entire body into the water leaving only my head hanging.

Damien's Pov:

I strip down to my boxers and get into my bed, hoping to fall asleep, but i couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow.

Tomorrow i will be going with the vampire king to my mate's pack. Initially, i was not planning on showing myself to my mate just yet. But i needed to make sure the vampire king does not change plans on signing the treaty. So i have to be there.

While still in my thoughts i felt a heavy pang on my chest. I jerk out of bed with a shock. It was so painful and heavy. I knew those emotions weren't coming from me. So i immediately knew they were coming from my mate. She must be in pain. The thought of her being in pain made it almost impossible for me to sleep.

I knew i was going to see her tomorrow but i really wanted to make sure she was okay.

I got dressed in black joggers and a black shirt and jumped out my window turning into my wolf. I ran straight to her pack grounds. I stopped running when i got to her pack borders and shifted back to my human form.

I decided to portal directly outside her window, cause it seemed like her pack had put up vampire detector so if i use my vampire speed i could be detected.

I got to her window and looked inside but there was no sign of her. Just as i was about to panic i saw her coming out of her bathroom and goddess i had to muster all the self control in me to stop me from bursting into her room and taking her. She was so beautiful and f*****g hot.

She stopped and looked around for a while and i knew that she could sense me but can't see me.

I smiled watching her move around her room. Goddess she was really perfection. She suddenly dropped her towel and i froze.

I quickly disappeared from her window back to her pack borders.

I let out a deep breath before running back to my mansion. Once i am back in my room. I fall on my bed. There is no way am falling asleep tonight.
