Liberty was excited for two reasons: First, eating chocolates for the first time. Second, eating chocolates for the first time and sharing it with Naomi. It’s almost embarrassing to feel his own pupils dilate at the sight of the pink box and the sweet aroma that comes from it. He cannot wait to go home and indulge in some earthly goods.
“You two are just as sweet as these chocolates. Thank you.” Was the final act of self-control he had managed to tell the girls before excusing himself. He couldn’t quite pinpoint whether they were flirting with him or just admiring him. Either way, Liberty was pretty shocked at how he managed the situation, he could give himself a pat on the back for a job well done.
“See you around, Liberty!”
