Miracle would be the only explanation why Liberty was able to lift the boulder, crushing his companion. He’s already out of energy. Out of adrenaline. And definitely out of power too. “Ngh…” Matthew grunted as he leaned most of his weight to his left where Liberty was technically acting as his crutch. The devil's left arm was snaked around the angel’s waist as Liberty dragged him from alley to alley while the whole place continued to rumble. The angel was bleeding profusely. The wing that suffered from the impact of the boulder was severely deformed, its bone structure was forced all over the place. Liberty was guessing that a crucial vein was affected, causing half of Matthew’s body to almost completely go numb. It was taking everything from him just to keep up with his pace.
