After their rigorous activity in the shower, Naomi asked Liberty to sleep with her and he agreed. As the two basked in their rekindled intimacy, Naomi was able to convince Liberty that they would save up for their prom dresses, knowing that the event is still months from now.
His allowance from the scholarship wouldn’t arrive until June and his pocket money is already running out from groceries and other apartment bills. Liberty’s pocket couldn’t afford a formal event. The idea was a dead end until Naomi told her she would help him get the money. She blabbered to sleep saying things like she wouldn’t allow Liberty to miss the most important event in their high school lives and how he would be thankful she forced him to attend it.
