If Naomi would compare her vision with anything right now, she would describe it as something close to a tunnel. Her peripherals were blurred and every sound that dared enter her ears was muffled. All she could focus on were the navy-colored carpet beneath her shoes and the target she locked with her determined eyes: the exit door. All the blood rushed into her ears as she basked in the feeling of anger, betrayal, or something milder yet infuriating just the same. Realizations hit him like a truck in a homerun.
