The Alpha's bite

Chapter 1

It was a sunny day , the students at regal east high were out and about roaming the halls of the school . Each student raving about their plans for the school holidays while the school seniors talked about their end of the year prom that is happening this weekend .This was their last year as highschool pupils and they wanted to pull all stops . Especially princess Maya who was going on and on about how her diamond tiara will fit well with the designer dress she is going to wear .

Everyone was listening to her except one . she was the least interested in hearing what her little highness is going to wear for the senior dance tomorrow . in fact the dance was the last thing on her mind right now . She was busy sketching something on her sketch book . The details were so well emphasised that the drawing seemed so realistic . The colours screaming volumes , drawing has always been her safe space , her haven . The creature she is drawing , it feels like she is connected to it somehow . This thing has been haunting her dreams and occupying her mind for as long as she could remember. It is those small details like it's Cresent moon mark on its right shoulder or it's bright blood red eyes . This thing has four long sharp canines , glossy jet black fur , pointy sharp ears and sharp long claws . The thing that was strange about this animal was it's standing on its 2 limbs like a human unlike most animals that stand with 4 limbs. In her dreams this creature is incredibly fast so agile it is invincible no human could do what it does.

"well ,well well if it isn't Addison and her stupid drawings " Maya's high pitched voice was filled with contempt

Addison just smiled as she looked at the snobby princess "Ah , you highness what did I do to deserve this kind of attention from you? , I mean you hardly acknowledge my existence "

" Get over yourself we all know you are just the school creep who likes drawing weird monsters to pass time , or I am I wrong class ? "

Majority of the class agreed with her

Addison just maintained her composure . " Yet here we are " she gave the princess contemptuous look

The look made Maya vexed that her cheeks just started turning red . "You being in the army doesn't give you the right to act so insolently with you princess , know you place peasant !! " Maya's one of many minions said

"I think it is you that has forgotten their place , otherwise you wouldn't be speaking to this so called peasant " Addison said calmly as she did the finish touches on the sketch she made

Maya could feel the the crowd going against her . Never in her life has she been this humiliated . Her eyes were burning with fury , she vowed that she would avenge today's humiliation .

Addison just wore her ear pods and put the music on full blast . To avoid further humiliation Maya and her minions backed off. Seeing them leave her alone Addison's lips curled into a small smile . Maya and Addison used to be childhood best friends . They were so close that most of Addison's Childhood was spent in the palace . Things changed after they reached high school . It's was like the sweet and kind Maya she used to know was just a part of her imagination. They grew apart , Maya and her are now strangers .

The after school bell rang Addison just collected her stuff and left . she always parked her car away from the school premises . she had to walk few meters to reach it. She wanted to give the impression that she came from a humble background and that she is there on a scholarship.no one knows who her father is except for Maya , her father is the highest ranking army general of Pinesburg . Bryson Parker is her father .

After the royal family the Parker army family is the second wealthiest family in the kingdom . They are the first black family to serve the kingdom in the battlefield . For the past centuries the Parker bloodline has been fearlessly winning wars for the generations that have sat on that throne . Addison wants to continue the tradition hence she joined the military. since her brother Max was still too young .

Addison parked her car in the driveway and headed inside .

"Mother , I am home !! " there was no response

"Faye ! , Faye ! " it seemed like nobody was home but she could hear some faint screams coming from upstairs

she ran up to the place of origin , it was coming from Max's room . Without hesitation she kicked the door open and what she saw terrified her. Max was curled up on the floor ,his left hand holding his right shoulder tightly as he screamed in pain .

"Max !!! , Max !! " she knelt down beside him before tearing off his shirt

The paw print birthmark on his right shoulder was glowing red . She tried to touch it but it was so hot that it nearly burnt her fingers . she didn't know what to do now , her little brother is in pain , his strange but unique birthmark is about a hundred degrees .

Then an idea struck her , she immediately dragged his body into bathroom . put him inside the shower and opened the cold water taps . she let the cold water fall on him until his birthmark dimmed down . only when she saw him calm down did Addison lend him a towel .

"I will wait for you to change , you're wet "

after a few minutes the troubled 15 year old boy called Addison back in . his hands were shaking . he looked Addison dead in the eyes and said

" Addy , something tragic is going to happen"
