ADDY’S POV:
I went and found Lily. She was playing with lil pups on the playground, chasing them, as the children’s uncontrollable and infectious laughter filled the air. My heart warmed to hear the pups in such high spirits. I sometimes say close by the play yard on my days off when I need to lift my spirts after the torment from school.
I stood at the gate, unable to bring myself to open the gate to enter. A longing feeling deep inside me of wanting to play with the little ones and make them laugh too. I loved kids, but everyone in the pack did not like me, so I kept my distance from everyone.
Lily gave a warm smile, as she waved her hand gesturing me to come join her. I sighed deeply, as I slowly unlatched the gate and entered.
