~ELARA'S POV~ The rain felt like a wall of ice. It stung my eyes and soaked right through my thin servant’s dress. The fabric got so heavy, it felt like lead pulling against my skin. Every single step was a fight. I tripped over a wet root and my knees hit the mud with a thud. It was a sick, heavy sound that shook my bones. “Keep moving,” my wolf whimpered.
