-Third-person point of view- Amanda was at home, still brooding over the fact that Alex had accepted his vampire mate. She found it incredibly difficult to accept. After all, she was a vampire, a type he had a strong aversion to. She thought he was better than that. She had believed he would prioritize his convictions over his emotions, but she was mistaken.
