We entered the meeting room, where Alex's warriors had Felix and Amanda forcibly brought to their knees. My confusion deepened as I saw the pair on the floor, helpless and apprehensive.
"What's happening here?" I inquired as I followed Alex, his grip on my hand steady and reassuring.
